📍 September 9, 2025 | Cabanuangan Elementary School

The Barangay Nutrition Committee of Poblacion, led by our BNSes, successfully conducted the Pabasa sa Nutrisyon at Cabanuangan Elementary School! With the support of Mr. Van Joemar Pepito, CNHPDD Intern, the activity became both fun and educational. 😍

Before the program, the BNSes coordinated with the school principal to ensure everything was in place. The event was actively joined by identified wasted and severely wasted, overweight and obese school children — as well as other students and supportive parents. 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦

Ang City Government of Valencia pinaagi sa CENRO nagpahibalo nga ang Sanitary Landfill kasamtangan nga nag-agi og operasyon aron ma-andam ang luna alang sa nakolektang solid waste. Tungod niini, limitado ang koleksyon sa basura ug giuna ang mga prayoridad nga pasilidad.

Gina-awhag ang tanang lumulupyo nga tarongon ang paghipos sa inyong basura ug dili ibilin nga nagkatag sa gawas sa inyong panimalay o establisyemento.

The Barangay Local Government Unit of Poblacion actively participated in the recently concluded DUGNAY 2025, spearheaded by the City Government of Valencia through the CNHPDD Office, held at the City Gymnasium and Cultural Center. The Barangay Nutrition Scholar was also present during this event and took part in inviting the lactating mothers of Barangay Poblacion to join the celebration.

Lactating mothers from Barangay Poblacion joined the event, where they had the opportunity to listen and learn from the inspiring talk of 𝙈𝙧𝙨. 𝙆𝙡𝙚𝙤 𝘼𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙨𝙤-𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙣, who highlighted the importance of breastfeeding for children. They also enjoyed various activities and games that added joy to the celebration.

The most heartwarming moment of the event was the one-minute simultaneous latching, where mothers and their babies shared a special bond of love. 💙🤱

Truly, DUGNAY 2025 was a celebration of love, health, good nutrition, and the unbreakable bond between mother and child. 🥰

🤱 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭

The 𝓗𝓮𝓪𝓵𝓽𝓱𝔂 𝓜𝓸𝓶𝓶𝔂 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓑𝓪𝓫𝔂 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓼𝓽 was held during the Nutrition Month Culmination Program as part of the 51st Nutrition Month celebration.

Mothers with babies aged 0 to 6 months joined the contest to show the importance of exclusive breastfeeding and proper baby care. 🥰

The judges checked each baby’s Baby Book, including immunization records and postnatal check-ups. The contest helped remind parents that breastfeeding and regular health check-ups are very important for a baby’s growth and health.

Another fun and meaningful activity was successfully held as part of the 51𝙨𝙩 𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣—the 𝒩𝓊𝓉𝓇𝒾 𝐵𝒶𝓁𝒶𝓀 𝒞𝑜𝓃𝓉𝑒𝓈𝓉! 👵👴

This time, our talented senior citizens took the spotlight, sharing their original balak (poems) inspired by this year’s Nutrition Month theme:
“𝘍𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘕𝘶𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺! 𝘚𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘢 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘬𝘢𝘪𝘯, 𝘒𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯!”

The participants proudly shared their heartfelt messages and creativity, using poetry to express the importance of proper nutrition and healthy living. Their performances were not only inspiring but also reminded everyone that talent and passion have no age limit.👏

A big salute to all our senior participants for sharing their voices and making the celebration even more meaningful! 💚

As part of the 51st Nutrition Month celebration, the Barangay Nutrition Committee of Poblacion successfully conducted the 𝓝𝓾𝓽𝓻𝓲 𝓙𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓵𝓮 𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓼𝓽 during the Nutrition Month Culmination Program—an event full of fun, music, and reminders about the importance of health and nutrition.

Daycare centers from Barangay Poblacion joined the contest, where young learners sang and danced to their own original jingle compositions. The event became even more special with the active participation of their parents and guardians, who performed with them—making it a joyful celebration of talent and family teamwork.

The children and their families wore colorful costumes decorated with fruits and vegetables, showing their creativity and support for healthy eating. Their lively performances also showed their understanding of this year’s theme:
