The Municipality of Valencia headed by Mayor Edgar Teves, Jr., warmly welcomes all competing teams to the 2-Day Football Tournament at Mango Ranch, Palinpinon, Valencia.

Organized by the Negros Oriental-Siquijor Football Association (NOSIRFA) and supported by LGU-Valencia through the Tourism Office and The Mango Ranch, the event features 124 teams from across Negros Island and Siquijor.

The Valencia Plaza has taken on a fresh and vibrant new look as this year’s Landscaping Competition officially opened last May 10, 2026, proudly sponsored by the Valencia Ornamental Flowers and Plants Growers Association (VOFPGA).

The competition showcased the creativity, teamwork, and dedication of every participating group, transforming the plaza into a beautiful display of nature and artistry that truly reflects the charm and beauty of Valencia.

Today in the Philippines, May 27, 2026 is declared a regular holiday for Eid’l Adha. We join the Muslim community in celebrating Eid’l Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice.

It commemorates the story of Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and obedience to God. According to Islamic belief, God tested Ibrahim by asking him to sacrifice his son Ishmael. Just as he was about to obey, God replaced his son with a ram. The day honors sacrifice, trust in God, and compassion.

Valencia stands in solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters as they mark the occasion with prayer, sacrifice, and acts of charity.
