On July 27, 2026, the ๐—•๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜‚ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—™๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป (๐—•๐—™๐—ฃ) โ€“ ๐—ฉ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฎ ๐—™๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป successfully conducted the Fire-Prone Areas Intervention Program and Obligasyon sa Bayan Ligtas na Pamayanan (OLP) Activities, which featured a seminar and hands-on fire safety training for participating officials and representatives from ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐—–๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜†๐˜‚๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ป and ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐—ก๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ต ๐—ฃ๐—ผ๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป.

The activity began at the BFPโ€“Valencia Fire Station, where participants attended informative discussions on fire prevention, fire hazards, emergency preparedness, and the proper use of firefighting equipment. Fire personnel emphasized the importance of community involvement in preventing fire incidents and ensuring public safety.

Following the seminar, participants proceeded to Valencia Plaza for the hands-on training, where they were given the opportunity to practice the appropriate response during fire emergencies under the guidance of BFP personnel. The practical exercise enhanced the participants' knowledge, confidence, and readiness in responding to fire-related incidents.

The activity forms part of the Bureau of Fire Protection's continuing commitment to strengthening disaster preparedness and promoting fire safety awareness through collaboration with local government units and barangays. By equipping community leaders and representatives with essential fire safety knowledge and practical skills, the program contributes to creating safer, more resilient, and disaster-ready communities.
