🌸💜 MARCH 2: National Women’s Month 2026 Kick-Off Program 💜🌸
The DENR CENRO Urdaneta officially kicked off the celebration of National Women’s Month 2026 last March 2, 2026, in conjunction with the office’s Monday Convocation. The program commenced with the Flag Raising Ceremony, featuring the Philippine National Anthem produced by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), which highlights the remarkable contributions and stories of Filipino women throughout history.
During the program, GAD Focal Person Engr. Princes York Magalong presented the lineup of Gender and Development (GAD) activities prepared for the entire month of March, encouraging everyone to actively participate in promoting gender equality and women empowerment in the workplace and community.
The activity also included the unfurling of the National Women’s Month tarpaulin, symbolizing the office’s continued support for gender-responsive programs and initiatives.
In the afternoon, a Zumba session was conducted to promote health, wellness, camaraderie, and inclusivity among employees while strengthening the advocacy for gender equality.
Through this celebration, DENR CENRO Urdaneta reaffirms its commitment to advancing the principles of Gender and Development and supporting this year’s National Women’s Month theme:
