Who can apply?
1. Must be a Filipino citizen, 16-24 years old, single, and a resident of Upi.
2. Must be a junior high school completer.
3. Must be able to report to work for the entire duration of the UYGP implementation (May 11 to June 11, 2026).
4. Must not be a previous UYGP official.
5. Must not be a member of the incumbent of Sangguniang Kabataan.

𝐎𝐧𝐞-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩

The Kadtuntaya Foundation, Inc. of Cotabato City conducted a One-Day Sectoral Agenda Workshop in Upi, Maguindanao del Norte today, June 12, 2025, at Gian's Bakeshop. The workshop invited various youth leaders, including participants from UYGP Batch 11, the UAS College Student Council President, the Muslim Youth Fellowship's President, Vice President, and Secretary, and the Episcopal Church Representative.

Led by Executive Director Sir Guiamel M. Alim, KFI Project Officer Sir Esmael T. Kamid, LPT; KFI Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Ma'am Mudaresa M. Apit, CHRA; the program aimed to equip these youth leaders with policy agenda-building skills. Participants were grouped according to their religious affiliation to brainstorm their experiences and identify relevant youth issues. They then developed and presented policy agendas to the entire group.

Successful proposals will be submitted to the LGU of Upi, Sangguniang Bayan and can be in the Region for consideration as ordinances or resolutions, ensuring youth suggestions receive due attention. Ultimately, the workshop successfully trained the youth in agenda-building and policy lobbying.

✨Reaching the Hearts of Kibucay: A Successful Outreach in Sitio Sefisi✨

Led by Youth Mayor Renze M. Nobleza and the Youth Officials, a successful outreach program took place in Sitio Sefisi, Kibucay, May 30th, 2025. The event included games and activities to bring joy to the children. The team expressed gratitude to the Barangay staff and SK Chairman Freddie Angi for their invaluable support in reaching the remote community.

Despite the challenging journey, the Youth Officials successfully distributed hygiene kits and provided a free breakfast, demonstrating their belief that no distance is too far when it comes to bringing happiness to children who appreciate even small acts of kindness.
