𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐘 𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐑𝐎 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐂𝐓 (𝐑𝐀 𝟗𝟏𝟕𝟖)

Ang Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) Act o RA 9178 ay isang batas na nagbibigay ng tulong sa maliliit na negosyo sa pamamagitan ng mga insentibo upang mas mapalago ang kanilang kabuhayan.

⭐ 𝙎𝙖𝙠𝙡𝙖𝙬 𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙈𝘽𝙀
Mga micro businesses na may kabuuang assets na hindi lalampas sa ₱3,000,000 (hindi kasama ang lupa kung saan nakatayo ang negosyo) at may hindi hihigit sa 9 na empleyado.

💰 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙗𝙤 & 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤
✅ Income Tax Exemption – Ang mga rehistradong BMBE ay hindi binubuwisan sa income tax.
✅ Minimum Wage Exemption – Maaaring hindi sakop ng minimum wage law, ngunit kinakailangang maibigay ang social protection tulad ng SSS at PhilHealth.
✅ Access to Credit – May access sa special credit windows mula sa mga bangko at financial institutions.
✅ Technical Assistance – Suporta mula sa gobyerno (DTI, TESDA, at iba pa) tulad ng trainings, skills development, at business advisory services.

Layunin ng RA 9178 na palakasin ang micro enterprises, makalikha ng trabaho, at mapalago ang lokal na ekonomiya.

💡 𝙏𝙞𝙥: Kung maliit ang iyong negosyo, magparehistro bilang BMBE—sayang ang tax exemption at iba pang benepisyo!

📍 Maaari kang mag-register online sa bmbe.dti.gov.ph o bumisita sa pinakamalapit na DTI/Negosyo Center Office. Dalhin lamang ang iyong DTI Business Name Certificate.

As part of its commitment to consumer welfare and protection, the Department of Trade and Industry – Bohol Provincial Office (DTI Bohol), through Negosyo Center Ubay, continuously conducts price and compliance monitoring in various business establishments within the municipality. This initiative aims to ensure fair pricing, correct price tagging, and compliance with the Suggested Retail Price (SRP) bulletin, helping protect consumers from unfair trade practices while promoting market stability.

To further guide consumers, below are the product categories under DTI’s jurisdiction:

𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 – These are products considered essential for daily living and consumption. Covered items include processed goods such as canned sardines, processed milk, instant coffee, bread, salt, cooking oil, laundry soap, detergent, and candles.

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 – These are important everyday goods that support the daily needs of consumers. This category includes canned meat, vinegar, soy sauce, fish sauce, toilet soap, and batteries.

𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 – DTI also monitors the prices of selected school items to help ensure affordability and availability for students and parents, especially during the back-to-school season.

Please note that fresh agricultural products such as meat, poultry, fish, fruits, and vegetables are monitored by the Department of Agriculture (DA).

BOHOL — Amid the ongoing crisis, which may affect global supply chains and commodity prices, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Bohol Provincial Office DTI continues to conduct regular province-wide price monitoring of basic necessities and prime commodities, including establishments in Tagbilaran City.

These efforts aim to ensure that prices of Basic Necessities and Prime Commodities under DTI's jurisdiction remain within the Suggested Retail Price (SRP), prevent unjustified price increases, and promote fair and responsible business practices.

The Price Act describes the role of each agency in monitoring the prices and supply of basic necessities and prime commodities.

The DTI, DA, DOE, DOH, DENR are among the agencies mandated to monitor BNPCs under their jurisdiction.

Empowering MSMEs to scale, sustain, and succeed ✨

The Department of Trade and Industry - Bohol officially launched today the 21 mentees from Bohol of the Kapatid Mentor Me - Money Market Encounter (KMME - MME) Online Program under DTI Region 7.

These 21 MSMEs from Bohol mark the first batch for 2026, composed of business owners and managers from the manufacturing, retail, food, and service sectors, including participants from the municipalities of Ubay and Pres. Carlos P. Garcia. The program will run from April to July 2026, starting with today’s Launch and Orientation.

The KMME - MME Program features a 10 module mentorship series covering Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, and Digitalization.

This initiative, led by DTI Philippines in partnership with PCE Go Negosyo, aims to strengthen MSMEs pinaagi sa mentorship, access to finance, ug market opportunities across Region 7.
