The success of YAKAP RUN 2026 is a true testament to unity, collaboration, and shared commitment to health and wellness. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the 1,000 runners who joined this eventโyour energy, dedication, and enthusiasm were the heart of this run and the reason it became truly meaningful.
This event would not have been possible without the unwavering support of PhilHealth, especially Ma. Teresa Abella, Local Health Insurance Officer of the Talibon Branch. Our sincere gratitude also goes to the Local Government Unit of Ubay, led by Mayor Violeta D. Reyes and Vice Mayor Constantino H. Reyes, with the support of Maam Corine Reyes, and Municipal Administrator Karl Vladimir Arbon for his guidance and support throughout the event.
We also acknowledge Ubay Tourism, headed by Maurice Caliao, Nicole Jamilo, and Maโam Antonietta Acedo; the Rural Health Unit (RHU) as one of the key organizers of this event; and the BOHOL United Runners, whose dedication and passion helped bring this run to life. Special recognition is given to Kagawad on Health Dr. Vincent Maximilian Entero for actively joining the run and advocating health through action, and to our event host, Jovanne Maboloc II, for keeping the program engaging and well-coordinated.
Our appreciation extends to PNP Ubay, BFP Ubay, Ubay Communication Responders, the barangay officials of Camambugan, Achila, Tapon, Poblacion, and Casate, MDRRM, and Tarsier for ensuring a smooth, safe, and well-coordinated run. We also sincerely thank the General Services Office (GSO) for providing the stage, chairs, and tables that supported the event operations.
Special thanks to Casa Marie Catering Services and Amariโs Restaurant for the food, and to the Bohol Dairy Cooperative for showcasing the delicious Chocobao and other dairy products proudly made in Ubay.
