Sino nga ba ang papalit sakaling mabakante ang isang elective position sa pamahalaang lokal?

Isa ito sa mga katanungang madalas matanggap ng Kagawaran. Kaya naman, narito ang mga probisyon mula sa Local Government Code kung paano pupunan ang panatilihang bakante sa pamahalaang lokal na tinatawag ding rules of succession.

Nakikiisa ang NATIONAL YOUTH COMMISSION sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika ngayong Agosto na may paksang, "Wikang Katutubo: Tungo sa Isang Bansang Filipino". Pagyamanin, tangkilikin at gamitin natin sa makabagong panahon ang ating mga katutubong wika na isa sa haligi ng pagkakakilanlan, pagkakaunawaan at pagkakaisa sa loob at labas ng bansa.

Itinalaga ng United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) ang kasalukuyang taon bilang taon ng pagkilala sa mga katutubong wika sa buong daigdig. Ayon sa talá ng UNESCO, mahigit sa 2,500 wika ng daigdig ang nanganganib maglaho kung hindi magkakaroon ng kongkretong aksiyon sa pagsagip sa mga ito.

Tinatayang 130 katutubong wika ang mayroon sa ating bansa (Atlas ng Wikang Filipinas, Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino).

The Office of the Provincial Governor is happy to announce that it is again offering a SCHOLARSHIP GRANT to qualified college students (of any year level) enrolled for AY 2019-2020.

Application forms shall be available on July 27-28, 2019 at the ITTADFI Bldg., Tubig Boh, Bongao. Screening and interview shall follow on July 29 to August 2, 2019 at the same venue.

Qualifications:
• Native of Tawi-Tawi;
• From a less fortunate family;
• Not a recipient of any existing scholarships/grants.

Requirements (what to bring):
• Certificate of Registration/Enrollment;
• Birth Certificate;
• Recent Grades (of no failing marks);
• 1x1 ID photo

Isabela Rep. Faustino "Inno" Dy V said on Tuesday he has filed a bill rescheduling barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) polls from May 2020 to May 2023, citing the need for barangay executives to serve full five-year terms.
