In her, we see a quiet fidelity. Not a faith that understands everything, but one that chooses to remain present where God is, even in sorrow.

Peter’s story is uncomfortable because it feels familiar. It’s easy to judge him, until you realize how often we do the same. Not loudly, not dramatically—but in silence, in hesitation, in choosing comfort over conviction. We don’t always walk away completely—we just drift, deny in small ways, stay quiet when it matters.

But like Peter, we are given the chance to return. And maybe that’s where grace is most real—not in never failing, but in choosing to come back.

Because the Cross was never about proving strength. It was about revealing love—the kind that does not withdraw when it is rejected, the kind that remains even when it is not deserved. Not a distant kind of love, but one willing to enter into human weakness, to carry it, and to redeem it from within. And in that same act, it reveals God’s mercy—not as something given only to the deserving, but as something poured out even for those who fall, who fail, and who turn away.

And that’s where it confronts us. Because we know how conditional we can be. We give when it is easy, we stay when it is comfortable, we love when it is returned. But mercy calls us beyond that—to choose love not only when it is deserved, but even when it is not.

From “Hosanna” to “Crucify Him” in just a few days. It’s uncomfortable to admit, but we’re not that different from the crowd. We can be loud in faith when it’s easy, and quiet when it’s difficult.
Palm Sunday is not just about them—it’s a mirror.

How often do we praise when it’s convenient, then withdraw when it costs us something? Human nature is inconsistent, easily swayed, easily worn down.

This is where faith becomes more than words. It steadies us, grounds us, and reminds us who we are called to be. It does not remove our weaknesses, but it helps us rise above the parts of ourselves that easily give in—so we do not become people who only stand firm when it’s easy.

Walked the Way of the Cross. In the stillness, I was reminded that suffering, love, and grace often meet in the same space, quietly shaping who we are. Said a few prayers, kept a few moments of silence, and walked with friends who understand both. A blessed Lent. 🙏 🫰❤️✌️
