Ngayong ika-12 ng Hunyo, buong-pugay nating inaalala ang walang-pantay na sakripisyo, tapang, at buhay na inialay ng ating mga pambansang bayani upang makamit ang kasarinlan ng ating bansa.

Kasabay nito, binibigyang-pugay din ng DAR Cagayan ang ating mga modernong bayaniโ€”ang ating mga magsasaka. Kung ang mga bayani noon ay nagbuwis ng buhay para sa ating lupang sinilangan, ang ating mga "Bayani ng Bukid" naman ngayon ang patuloy na nagpapalaya sa atin mula sa gutom at kahirapan.

Sa diwa ng tunay na repormang agraryo, patuloy na maglilingkod ang DAR Cagayan upang masiguro ang katarungang panlipunan at masaganang bukas para sa ating mga magsasaka.

Arcangel ang opisyal na lumahok sa paglulunsad ng Farm Business School (FBS) at Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing na isinagawa ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Provincial Office of Cagayan noong Mayo 28, 2026 sa bayan ng Lal-lo.
Layunin ng FBS na palakasin ang kakayahan ng mga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) sa pamamahala ng kanilang mga sakahan bilang isang kumikitang negosyo sa pamamagitan ng mga pagsasanay sa farm planning, farm record keeping, enterprise management, at marketing.

Pinangunahan ang aktibidad ni OIC- Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Office (PARPO) I Atty. Glenn A. Follante kasama sina Mayor Florence Oliver B. Pascual, Municipal Agriculture Officer (MAO) Josephine Acebedo, Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer (MARPO) Engr. Evangeline V. Allag, at SARPO Novelita Edraira.

Pormal nang nilagdaan ang isang Marketing Agreement sa pagitan ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Lal-lo at Gattaran Municipal Jails, at ng Southern Buguey ARB Cooperative noong Hunyo 9, 2026.

Ang hakbang na ito ay bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapatupad ng Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (PAHP) program sa rehiyon.
Sa ilalim ng kasunduang ito, ang Southern Buguey ARB Cooperative ang magsisilbing pangunahing supplier ng mga sariwang gulay at iba pang agrikultural na komodidad para sa pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan sa pagkain ng mga Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) sa mga naturang pasilidad.

Ang pakikipagtulungang ito ay naglalayong magbigay ng selyadong merkado at permanenteng kita para sa ating mga magsasaka habang sinisiguro ang de-kalidad na suplay ng pagkain para sa BJMP.

Kamakailan ay matagumpay na inorganisa ng DARPO Cagayan ang Online Pre-registration Seminar (PRS) para sa mga kasapi ng mga bagong tatag na ARBOs. The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Provincial Office of Cagayan convened its Executive Committee (EXECOM) Meeting to assess program accomplishments, address operational concerns, and strengthen strategies for achieving targets across the province.

During the meeting, Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer (PARPO) II Val M. Cristobal directed the survey team to intensify and expedite survey activities under both the regular Land Acquisition and Distribution (LAD) Program and the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project to ensure the timely attainment of program targets.

Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officers (MARPOs) from the provinceโ€™s 10 clusters presented updates on accomplishments, challenges, and ongoing activities within their respective Areas of Responsibility (AORs). The discussions focused on monitoring field operations and identifying measures to improve program implementation.

PARAD Atty. Ma. Fatima T. Yadao and the Division Chiefs also provided updates on key activities, office concerns, and priority initiatives under their respective divisions. Their reports highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance coordination, address operational issues, and improve service delivery to stakeholders.

The EXECOM Meeting serves as a regular venue for DAR Cagayan officials to review progress, align priorities, and formulate strategies that will further strengthen the implementation of agrarian reform programs in the province.
