LOOK: The Coast Guard District North Eastern Luzon (CGDNELZN) formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Cagayan State Universityโ€“Carig Campus for the implementation of the On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program. Under the agreement, fourth-year students will undergo a 270-hour internship at Headquarters Coast Guard District North Eastern Luzon (HCGDNELZN), held at Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, on 03 June 2026.

The OJT Program provides students with valuable hands-on experience and practical training designed to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competencies as aspiring criminologists and future law enforcement professionals. It serves as a vital platform for bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application, fostering professional growth and preparedness for future careers in public service and law enforcement.

๐‹๐จ๐จ๐ค: The Coast Guard District North Eastern Luzon (CGDNELZN), through the Coast Guard Human Resource Management Unit โ€“ North Eastern Luzon (HRMU-NELZN), successfully conducted the deliberation of aspiring Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) applicants at Headquarters CGDNELZN, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, on June 1, 2026.

A total of 140 applicants underwent the deliberation process as part of the PCG recruitment and selection procedure. Candidates were evaluated based on their qualifications, character, performance, and potential to uphold the values of integrity, professionalism, and dedication expected of future Coast Guard personnel.

CGDNELZN remains committed to ensuring a transparent and merit-based recruitment process in selecting competent and service-oriented individuals dedicated to serving the nation.
