The Cagayano Youth Festival of Talents – First Edition is proud to introduce one of our esteemed Official Judges, Mr. Arvin C. Iquin! ✨

A seasoned performer, coach, and organizer in the fields of dance, music, and the performing arts, Mr. Iquin brings years of experience and expertise to our judging panel. He is a former member of the Center for Culture and the Arts of the University of St. Louis Tuguegarao and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus.

As the Trainer, Coach, and Adviser of the Athena Performing Arts Bureau and the Campus Coordinator for Culture and the Arts, he continues to inspire and develop young talents while promoting excellence in cultural and artistic endeavors.

With his extensive background in performance, choreography, coaching, and technical judging, Mr. Iquin will provide valuable insight in evaluating the creativity, skill, and stage presence of our talented participants.

𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐊𝐈𝐂𝐊-𝐎𝐅𝐅 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 🏳️‍🌈

Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Pride Month 2026, pormal na inilunsad ng Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) ang buwan ng pagkilala, paggalang, at pagsuporta sa LGBTQIA+ Community sa pamamagitan ng isang espesyal na kick-off activity na isinagawa kasabay ng regular na Flag Ceremony ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Cagayan.

Bilang bahagi ng selebrasyon, naghatid ang PSWDO ng maikling impormasyon tungkol sa kahalagahan ng Pride Month at ang patuloy na pagsusulong ng pagkakapantay-pantay, inclusivity, at paggalang sa karapatan ng bawat isa anuman ang kanilang s*xual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, at s*x characteristics (SOGIESC).

Nagkaroon din ng masayang interaksyon sa pamamagitan ng mga trivia questions at question-and-answer activities na may kaugnayan sa LGBTQIA+ awareness. Ang mga kalahok na nakasagot nang tama ay nakatanggap ng mga munting papremyo mula sa PSWDO bilang dagdag kasiyahan at pagpapahalaga sa kanilang aktibong pakikilahok.

Sa pamamagitan ng simpleng gawaing ito, layunin ng PSWDO na patuloy na palakasin ang kamalayan ng publiko, itaguyod ang respeto sa pagkakaiba-iba, at hikayatin ang lahat na maging katuwang sa pagbuo ng isang mas inklusibo, ligtas, at makatarungang komunidad para sa lahat.
