𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗕𝗢 💚

In partnership with Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU), DOST-SEI introduces the enhanced Bridging Education in Science and Technology for Indigenous Peoples (BEST for IP) Scholarship Program.

The first of its kind, the initiative expands access for graduating high school students from indigenous communities to pursue priority science and technology degrees offered at NVSU.

For its pilot implementation, qualified applicants are passers of the 2026 NVSU College Entrance Test. They must also be certified members of IP communities. For interested and eligible applicants, you may contact NVSU via email ([email protected]).

𝗦𝗘𝗜 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 | Committed to extending opportunities for the indigenous peoples (IP) youth, DOST-SEI seals a partnership with Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) for the Bridging Education in Science and Technology for Indigenous Peoples (BEST for IP) Scholarship Program.

Beginning A.Y. 2026-2027, fifty (50) incoming freshmen will be awarded undergraduate scholarships and will undergo formation programs focused on academic excellence, leadership, and a deep sense of cultural identity.

The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed by NVSU President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr. and DOST-SEI Director Dr. Jayeel S. Cornelio, together with NVSU Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Elma P. Apostol and DOST-SEI Chief Science Research Specialist Mr. Peter Gerry P. Gavina.
