IN PHOTOS | 40th Regular Session

Another productive day at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Cagayan! During our 40th Regular Session held this May 14, 2026, we tackled several key measures focused on provincial development and local governance.

Session Highlights:
•Passed the Supplemental Annual Investment Program (SAIP) No. 01 for CY 2026, totaling P285,077,957.69 for various programs and projects.
•Reviewed and approved several 2026 Annual and Supplemental Budgets for our municipalities, including Santa Teresita, Santo Niño, Santa Ana, Solana, Abulug, Allacapan, Amulung, Camalaniugan, Alcala, and Lal-lo.
•Authorized the Governor to enter into various Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) and Understanding (MOU) concerning rice purchases from the NFA, disaster resilience (STREAM Project), and livelihood programs for persons with disabilities.

We continue to work hard to ensure that every resolution and ordinance passed serves the best interests of every Cagayano.

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Cagayan, presided over by Vice Governor Manuel Mamba, convened for its 39th Regular Session on May 7, 2026.

​Highlights from the session:
​1. Approval of the Supplemental Provincial Development Investment Program (SPDIP) No. 01 for 2026-2031 and the reprogramming of over ₱117 million in disaster risk reduction (LDRRM) funds to prioritize emergency management projects.
​2. The board expressed support for establishing Science High Schools in Camalaniugan and Tuao.
3. A resolution was passed urging Governor Edgar B. Aglipay to fast-track the full implementation, completion, and operationalization of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Building to ensure the effective delivery of public services to the people of Cagayan.
