𝐍𝐋𝐑𝐂-𝐑𝐀𝐁 𝐍𝐨. 𝟎𝟐 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐎 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐄𝐧𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Tuguegarao City, Cagayan — The National Labor Relations Commission – Regional Arbitration Branch No. 02 (NLRC-RAB No. 02) participated in the “SEADO Basic Training on SEnA Conciliation-Mediation” conducted by the Department of Labor and Employment – Regional Office No. 02 (DOLE-RO2) from August 25 to 27, 2026, at Hotel Carmelita, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

Representing NLRC-RAB No. 02 were Ms. Marichriss C. Reyno and Ms. Carolyn G. Gerardo, who actively participated in the three-day training aimed at strengthening the participants’ knowledge, skills, and competencies in the effective implementation of the Single Entry Approach (SEnA) and the conduct of conciliation-mediation proceedings.

On August 27, 2026, Labor Arbiter Melanie F. Aleson-Laranio of NLRC-RAB No. 02 also shared her knowledge and expertise as a resource person on termination issues, providing participants with valuable insights on the legal principles and practical considerations involving termination of employment.

The participation and contribution of NLRC-RAB No. 02 in the SEADO Basic Training on SEnA Conciliation-Mediation underscore the Branch’s continuing commitment to professional development, knowledge sharing, and inter-agency collaboration. Through initiatives such as this, NLRC-RAB No. 02 continues to support efforts toward the speedy, fair, and amicable resolution of labor disputes and the effective administration of labor justice in the region.
