DTI R2 Cagayan Conducts Entrepreneurship Trainings for OFWs and TESDA Scholars
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Cagayan, through Negosyo Center Tuguegarao City, conducted entrepreneurship and financial awareness trainings for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and TESDA scholars on August 19โ20, 2026.
On August 19โ20, DTI R2 Cagayan, in partnership with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), conducted the Entrepreneurial Development Training cm Financial Awareness Seminar and Small Business Management Training (EDT cm FAS/SBMT) at the DMW Training Hall. The two-day activity provided 93 OFW beneficiaries with practical knowledge on entrepreneurship, financial awareness, and small business management to help them explore and strengthen potential entrepreneurial ventures.
Meanwhile, on August 20, DTI R2 Cagayan also conducted an Entrepreneurial Development Training for 35 TESDA scholars under the Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) Program for HEO Hydraulic Excavator NC II at DBJ Apollo Civil Engineering Construction.
The training equipped the scholars with basic entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to complement their technical training and prepare them for potential livelihood and business opportunities.
Through these initiatives, DTI R2 Cagayan continues to support aspiring entrepreneurs by providing relevant knowledge and capacity-building opportunities that promote financial awareness, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihood.
