BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya โ Thirty-five persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) and informal workers received livelihood assistance from the Department of Labor and Employment Nueva Vizcaya Field Office (DOLE-NVFO) through the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) during a Business and Work Improvement Course (BWIC) and livelihood kit awarding ceremony on August 25, 2026 at the Provincial Jail Multipurpose Hall, Capitol Compound, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.
Worth โฑ1,155,000, the livelihood kits contained materials for 18 different types of small enterprises, including graphic design and printing, electrical services, karinderya, sari-sari stores, and other income-generating activities. The assistance was tailored to the proposed livelihood projects of the beneficiaries to help them start, improve, or expand their sources of income.
The activity was led by DOLE-NVFO Provincial Head Elizabeth U. Martinez, together with DILP Focal Person Marietta B. Calpo, Agatha Christy Garcia, and May-an Antonio, in coordination with partner agencies and the Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya.
