Real impact isn't measured by a single dayโ€™s effort, but by the canopy that grows when a community refuses to stop showing up.

What started as a single afternoon of planting has now grown into a living, breathing movement. Four years ago, we placed our trust in the earth, burying tiny seeds with a silent promise that we would return to care for what we began. Our small saplings have taken firm root, their branches reaching upward as a testament to what consistency, community, and genuine care can build over time.

Today, The Green Story Project enters its 4th chapter, transforming shared hope into visible, lasting green spaces across our city. Our work continues as we gather at the Tuguegarao City Eco Park in Namaballan Sur, August 1, 2026 โ€”not just to plant new life, but to nurture the soil, protect our local ecosystem, and ensure our environmental legacy keeps stretching further every single year.

This effort is a standing promise, to keep showing up for our land, to take responsibility for our climate, and to build a cooler, healthier, and more sustainable Tuguegarao.

Led by the Rotaract Club of Tuguegarao, in active partnership with the Rotary Club of Tuguegarao, Interact Club of Tuguegarao City Science High School, PENRO Cagayan Sub Office, CENRO Tuguegarao, Youth Service Philippines (YSP), BFP Tuguegarao, BSP Tuguegarao, and SECAP Council, we continue to prove that when young leaders unite for the environment, the future takes root.
