It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Atty. Edmon Kit J. Rasos, a dedicated instructor his students will remember as a fun and brilliant man.

"Atty. Kit," as he was fondly called, was a graduate of AB Political Science at the then Saint Louis College of Tuguegarao, now the University of Saint Louis - Tuguegarao, in 2003. He taught part-time in the university in the same program that he said was "a way of giving back to the institution that expertly trained and prepared [him] in achieving his dreams."

He was also a Clerk of Court in the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch V in Tuguegarao City. He passed the bar in 2023.

Our thoughts and our prayers are with Atty. Kit's family during this time of loss and mourning.

May he rest in eternal peace and rise in glory.

In order to prepare fourth-year students of the School of Education, Criminology, Arts, and Psychology (SECAP) who'll have their on-the-job training, the Political Science and Social Sciences Department is set to conduct a 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 tomorrow, August 18, at 8 AM, at the BCJ-AVR.

This seminar which will run from morning to afternoon aims to "prepare for responsible, ethical, and professional engagement in the workplace."

Fourth-year students across all of the departments in SECAP will be briefed by the BAPOS Department Head, Mr. Christian Bosch Taylan, by BAPOS Instructors, Mr. Paul-Iris Canceran, Mr. Steve PJ Carpio, Mr. Hayden Gonzales II, and the University's Vice President for Administration, Dr. Marie Rose Mora.

This year's Pavvurulun Afi Festival theme, "𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘝𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺" reflects all the words that can sum Tuguegarao's spirit: its rich heritage, its vibrant community as Region II's primary regional capital, all united in a week-long celebration set in blazing pomp, pageantry, fun, and faith.

Tuguegarao City is where heritage and hospitality weld together. It is where cuisine and culture meet. It is where fire and faith become one.

Because they were former student leaders, achievers, and academic luminaries in their own right, they can bring the best of what the BAPOS Program can offer in political and legal studies, policy analysis, and research.

We unfurl the minds that has shaped and are actively shaping the BAPOS Program. They could be familiar names and faces for freshies or returning students, but we know how thrilled you are in looking forward to what they'd bring in the classroom.

Ang salitang "𝘈𝘯𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘨" na pinaikling berso ng "𝘈𝘯𝘪 𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘯𝘢" ay isang pagdiriwang na ginaganap sa Laguna na tumatagal ng isang linggo na ang layunin ay ipagdiwang ang natatanging yumi ng probinsya ng Laguna at ipakita ang mayamang kultura at kasaysayan nito.

Nasa aming booth din ang mga tanyag na mga aktibidad at mga patimpalak na pinagtagumpayan ng Political Science Society at ng mga mag-aaral ng BAPOS. Upang bigyang buhay ang mga impormasyon at pigurang nasa booth, kinatawanan nina Ma. Celine Jhace Binalay, Executive Secretary ng PSS, at Jickain Paguirigan, Socio-cultural Coordinator ng PSS, ang Anilag at ang Laguna.
