We are pleased to announce that the **Veterans Ward of the Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC)** is now **FULLY FUNCTIONAL and OPEN** to serve our beloved **veterans and their qualified dependents**. 🫡🇵🇭

The Veterans Ward is now ready to accommodate:

Qualified patients admitted to the Veterans Ward are covered by the **No-Billing Policy**, helping ensure that our veterans and their qualified dependents receive the medical care they deserve **without worrying about hospital charges**.

📌 **Please note:** The No-Billing Policy does **not cover medicines that are not included in the Non-PNF (Non-Philippine National Formulary)**. Any such medicines may have to be shouldered by the patient or their family.

This is another step toward ensuring that our **veterans—the heroes who served and sacrificed for our country—receive the care, honor, and assistance they rightfully deserve.** 🇵🇭🫡

The Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) informs our valued veterans, pensioners, beneficiaries, and other clients of the following work arrangements for the Main Office in Quezon City for the week of August 17–21, 2026:

August 17 (Monday) – Work from Home (Skeletal Workforce Available)

August 18 (Tuesday) – Work from Home (Skeletal Workforce Available)

August 19 (Wednesday) – Quezon Day (Special Non-Working Holiday)

August 20 (Thursday) – Open for Physical Transactions

August 21 (Friday) – Ninoy Aquino Day (Special Non-Working Holiday)

The above schedule is subject to further announcements and changes in government directives.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬: TO OUR VALUED VETERANS AND CLIENTS,

Due to the continuous heavy rains, the validation period for pensioners with July and August birthmonths is extended by another one month.

Birthmonth | Extended Validation Period
JULY | July to September
AUGUST | August to October

Pensioners concerned are advised to complete their validation within the extended period to ensure the continued processing of their benefits.

📢 PAALALA: Mahal naming mga Pensioner,
Upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na pagtanggap ng inyong pensiyon, pakitandaan ang mga sumusunod na pagbabago sa PVAO Validation Program:
1. Iskedyul ng Validation
Ang mga pensioner na pitumpung (70) taong gulang pataas ay kinakailangang sumailalim sa validation dalawang (2) beses sa isang taon.
Ang unang validation ay isasagawa sa buwan ng inyong kapanganakan.

Ang ikalawang validation ay isasagawa anim (6) na buwan matapos ang buwan ng inyong kapanganakan.
May isang (1) buwang palugit (advance grace period) bago ang takdang petsa ng ikalawang validation.
Halimbawa: Kung ang buwan ng inyong kapanganakan ay Marso, ang inyong unang validation ay sa Marso, at ang ikalawang validation ay sa Setyembre.

Samantala, ang mga pensioner na animnapu't siyam (69) na taong gulang pababa ay kinakailangang sumailalim sa validation isang (1) beses lamang sa isang taon, na dapat maisagawa sa buwan ng kanilang kapanganakan.

Mangyaring kumpletuhin ang inyong validation ayon sa itinakdang iskedyul para sa inyong pangkat ng edad. Ang hindi pagsunod sa tamang iskedyul ay maaaring magresulta sa pansamantalang pagharang (blocking) ng inyong pension account, na maaaring magdulot ng pagkaantala sa paglabas ng inyong benepisyo.

2. Pinasimpleng Requirements para sa mga Surviving Spouse Pensioner
Upang maging mas madali at maginhawa ang proseso ng validation, ang mga Surviving Spouse Pensioner ay hindi na kinakailangang magsumite ng Notarized Affidavit o Notarized Pensioner's Update Form (PUF) bilang bahagi ng mga requirements sa validation.

Maraming salamat sa inyong patuloy na pakikipagtulungan.
