WORKING TOGETHER FOR COMMUNITY SAFETY & REFORM 🤝🏛️

Mayor Estela Obut-Estaño welcomed JSINSP Gener D. Galambao and BJMP representatives to the Mayor's Office for a joint coordination meeting.

The meeting tackled the implementation of the Provincial Governor's program transferring PDL custody to the BJMP Oroquieta District Jail. Moving forward, all apprehended individuals within the area covering Tudela to Lopez Jaena will be processed under BJMP's facility and reformative programs.

NEWS: 1st Division Management Committee (MANCOM) Meeting

The Schools Division Office of Misamis Occidental headed by SDS Jean Veloso successfully conducted its 1st MANCOM Meeting today at The Working Conhressman Sports and Cultural Center.

The assembly brought together educational leaders and stakeholders to recognize key achievements and advance division-wide initiatives. Highlights of the event included:

Formal recognition of the 17 SDO Misamis Occidental School Heads who passed the Batch 2 FY 2025 National Assessment for School Heads (NASH), led by Grace L. Tomo, recognized as the Regional Top Performer.

Soft unveiling and implementation guidelines for the Division's new Official Logo.

Oath-taking ceremonies for School Leaders (AuRA Renewal), newly elected Division Federated PTA Officers (SY 2026–2027), and newly hired teachers across four divisions.

Turnover of administrative support equipment from the Provincial Government to SDO Misamis Occidental.

Keynote Speaker Governor Atty. Henry S. Oaminal administered the oaths and reaffirmed the provincial administration's continued support for quality basic education in Misamis Occidental.
