📢 Because we care about mental health, apil na sa PJ&K Medical Caravan ang psychological consultation Para Jud Kaninyo!

Sugdan nato ang libreng psychological consultation sa Barangay Tominjao Covered Court, Tuburan karo’ng Biyernes, September 5.

Mga psychologists and volunteers sa Department of Psychology sa University of San Carlos- Talamban Campus ang atong partners niini.

Ang team will conduct 30-minute to an hour interview Needs Assessment kada client aron masuta unsa’y angay nga mental health interventions nga buhaton.

Kami ni Congressman Pablo John “PJ” Garcia mapasalamaton sa USC Department of Psychology, gipangulohan nila ni Professors Maria Jhorenda Macion ug Ken Brocka, sa pag-offer ug libreng konsulta alang sa atoang constituents.

Brgy. Tominjao Celebrates Nutrition Month 2025 🥦🥒

Today, July 14, 2025 Brgy. Tominjao held a series of activities to celebrate the Nutrition month 2025 with the initiation of our Brgy. Health Workers and BNS headed by our Midwife Rachel Rose C. Borja and Nurse Rinavelle Tabotabo with the full support of our Brgy. Officials and SK Officials.

There was a program held where breast feeding mothers were invited, day care learners, parents, and backyard gardeners. The activities include, “Utan Cooking Contest”, nutrition quiz to kids and parents, giving of rice to day care learners, biggest fruits and vegetable contest, and feeding program for everyone. Through collective efforts, the program was made possible and a total success.

This activity aimed to inspire and encourage everyone in our community to value health, plant fruits and vegetables, and promote healthy living. 🥗💚

Balik SKwela Program; Empowering Young Minds, One Pen at a Time. 🖋️

In pursuit of instilling good influence to children in the field of education, the SK Officials of Barangay Tominjao created an initiative to give school supplies to our Tominjao Elementary School Pupils in all grade levels called the “Balik SKwela Program”. A program that aims to encourage, empower, and motivate young learners to value education. It is an initiative created with the beliefs that nothing is more powerful than a child equipped to learn.

Over 170 pupils from Kindergarten to Grade 6 who are all ready to dream big and work hard were given equal amount of school supplies on their first day of school. It was very heartwarming to see the smiles and excitements on the faces of our young dreamers receiving the small school kits. It may not be as grand as what we all want it to be but we have so much hope that through this little act we made an impact to the pupils’ minds to dream for a bigger and brighter future because we strongly believe that our community’s future relies on our children.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the teachers of Tominjao Elementary School headed by Mrs. Charito P. Gracia for allowing us to conduct this program on their first day of school, to our Brgy. Officials, Tominjao Youth Council for helping us in repacking, and to the volunteers who helped us in distributing the school supplies.

Here’s to supporting the young individuals for a brighter Tominjao! ✨📚
