Yesterday, love was not only in the air—it was in every smile, every “thank you,” and every heartfelt gesture at Vicente Cabahug National High School. 💖

Our Valentine’s Day celebration became more meaningful as it was dedicated to expressing gratitude to the amazing teachers who guide, inspire, and shape our future every single day. The event was filled with simple yet sincere acts of appreciation—handwritten letters, sweet treats, flowers, and warm messages from students who wanted to say, “Salamat po, Ma’am at Sir!”

Teachers are more than educators; they are mentors, second parents, and everyday heroes. Their patience, dedication, and commitment to excellence make a lasting impact on every learner’s life. Yesterday’s celebration reminded us that Valentine’s Day is not only about romantic love—it is also about appreciation, respect, and gratitude.

The celebration was made possible with the collaborative effort of the SSLG with the students and guidance of the ever dynamic and hardworking adviser, Mrs. Analou A. Pajes with the SPTA officers headed by Mrs. Cristy A. Co**ha.

To all the teachers of Vicente Cabahug National High School, thank you for your unwavering dedication and for lighting the path of knowledge for your students. We are truly grateful for all that you do. 💐✨

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government of Vicente Cabahug NHS joins SUGMAD 2026 at Badian, Cebu last February 10-13, 2026. Among the participants were Mark James C. Rosagenia, SSLG Outgoing President, Erich E. Lape, SSLG Incoming President, Mars S. Espina, YES-O President, Mycah Joy S. Canoy, BKB+President and Mrs. Analou A. Pajes, SSLG Adviser.

The SUGMAD 2026 Leadership Training successfully gathered passionate and purpose-driven student leaders for a transformative journey of growth, collaboration, and service.

Anchored on the core values of integrity, accountability, and servant leadership, the training equipped participants with essential skills in communication, decision-making, conflict resolution, and project management. Through interactive workshops, team-building activities, and reflective sessions, delegates strengthened not only their leadership competencies but also their commitment to responsible and ethical governance.

This year’s training emphasized that true leadership is not about position—but about purpose. As future changemakers, SUGMAD leaders are now more prepared to serve with excellence, lead with empathy, and inspire action within their schools and communities.

Congratulations to the Newly Elected Officers of the District of Tuburan II!

We proudly congratulate the newly elected officers of Tuburan District II from the different student organizations—SSLG, BKB+(Barkada Kontra Bisyo), and YES-O. The event was participated by Sumon Integrated School, Paulo B. Gallarde Integrated School, Kansi NHS, Ireneo V. Diamante NHS and Vicente Csbahug NHS.

As new leaders, you are given the responsibility to guide, inspire, and help your school and community. Leadership is not just about having a position, but about serving others with honesty, teamwork, and dedication. May you always remember to listen, to lead with kindness, and to work for the good of everyone..

May this new journey help you grow not only as leaders, but also as individuals. Continue to be good examples to your fellow learners and bring positive changes to your schools and to the District of Tuburan II.

Last Friday, the SSLG of VCNHS led by their adviser, Mrs. Analou Pajes with the support from the ever active SPTA led by their President, Mrs. Cristy Co**ha conducted a house to house donation campaign for the earthquake victims. They were able to purchase grocery items and rice for relief goods.
The organization would like to extend it's heartfelt thanks to those individuals who extended their help. Thank you so much.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government of Vicente Cabahug National High School will conduct a house-to-house campaign tomorrow para manuktok sa inyong mga kasingkasing aron makalikom ug donations para sa mga affected kaau sa earthquake. Pwede ra jud mo mo-donate ug bottled water, canned goods, or mga ready-to-eat nga pagkaon. Whatever matapok namo nga tabang gikan ninyo kay ihatod on Saturday.
