May 22, 2026 Pre- Construction Conference at Barangay Rizal, Tubao, La Union for the officers and members of Samahan ng Mamamayan at Magsasaka ng Rizal Inc. (SAMAKA).

The activity aimed to present and discuss the Program of Work (POW), Project Design, and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to ensure transparency, coordination, and active participation of the association in the implementation of the irrigation project.

This initiative reflected NIA- La Union Irrigation Management Office continued commitment to strengthening partnerships with irrigators’ associations and promoting sustainable agricultural development in the community.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 25, s. 2026, and by virtue of Proclamation No. 04-97, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 πŸπŸ“, πŸπŸŽπŸπŸ” (π…π«π’ππšπ²), is hereby declared a π’ππ„π‚πˆπ€π‹ 𝐍𝐎𝐍-π–πŽπ‘πŠπˆππ† π‡πŽπ‹πˆπƒπ€π˜, in the Municipality of Tubao, La Union in celebration of the municipality’s annual town fiesta.

It provides an opportunity for all TubaoeΓ±os to actively participate in the various religious, cultural, civic, and community activities prepared for the celebration. It also serves as a time to honor the rich history and traditions of Tubao.

In line with the ongoing national efforts to address the energy crisis, the Local Government Unit of Tubao also encourages the public to observe austerity measures and practice energy conservation during the celebration. Residents, establishments, and event organizers are advised to use electricity responsibly by minimizing unnecessary lighting and sound consumption, switching off unused appliances, and promoting sustainable practices throughout the festivities.

The Local Government Unit further encourages everyone to celebrate responsibly, maintain peace and order, and continue promoting cleanliness and environmental awareness during the conduct of all fiesta-related activities.
