Newly elected SK Chairperson of Barangay Cebolin, Aiah Charm B. Batonghinog, and Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR), Julius Plaza of Barangay Kapatungan, officially took their oaths of office during an oath-taking ceremony at the Mayorโ€™s Office today, September 7.

The ceremony was administered by Municipal Mayor Kristoffer G. Calvez, alongside Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Archie Rose Raza, marking the officialsโ€™ formal assumption of their respective positions and reaffirming their commitment to serve their communities with integrity, dedication, and responsibility.

As part of the continuing efforts to recognize outstanding agricultural service in the barangays, the Local Government Unit of Trento, through the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), in coordination with the Provincial Agriculture and Veterinary Office (PAVO), conducted the Best Barangay Agricultural Worker (BAW) Evaluation 2026 in Barangay Langkilaan on September 4.

The evaluation aimed to recognize and reward outstanding Barangay Agricultural Workers (BAWs) who have demonstrated exemplary performance and dedication in providing agricultural services to farmers in their respective barangays. A total of 35 participants, composed of BAWs, MAO staff, and farmer participants, took part in the activity.

The activity focused on the evaluation of candidates for the Best Barangay Agricultural Worker (BAW), recognizing their contributions to the delivery of agricultural services in their respective communities.
