DOST Cavite extends its heartfelt congratulations to the 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟰𝟰𝟮 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 from the province for the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗦𝗘𝗜 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺.

As DOST scholars, you will be receiving the following support:
✅ Php 8,000.00 monthly stipend
✅ Php 40,000.00/academic year for tuition and other school fees (for those enrolled in private HEIs)
✅ Php 10,000.00/academic year for learning materials and connectivity allowance
✅ Php 1,000.00 clothing allowance (one-time)
✅ Php 10,000.00 thesis allowance
✅ Php 1,000.00 graduation allowance
✅ One economy-class roundtrip fare per year (for those enrolled outside of home province)
✅ Group Accident and Health Insurance

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Cavite participated in the first day of the Strengthening Operations and Upscaling Technologies through Holistic (SOUTH) Mentorship Series Year 2: Networking & Negotiations for Technology Commercialization held on May 26, 2026, at the CvSU ITSO Conference Room, Cavite State University-Main Campus. The activity was organized under the RAISE Southern Tagalog Program and gathered researchers and technology transfer officers from various institutions in the region.

During the session, Engr. Gilda S. De Jesus, Director of DOST Provincial Science and Technology Office – Cavite, served as one of the resource speakers and discussed the Fairness Opinion Review (FOR). The discussion focused on the importance of FOR in technology transfer activities, particularly in ensuring fairness and transparency in the financial aspects of technology commercialization and licensing agreements.

Participants of the event are from DOST-FPRDI, DA-RFO 4A, UPLB, CvSU, SLSU, LSPU, URS, BatSU, RTU, WPU, MSC, and RSU. They attended the mentorship sessions, which aimed to strengthen technology commercialization, technology promotion, and agribusiness development through networking and negotiation strategies.

ONLY 8.71% OF EXAMINEES!

The Department of Science and Technology–Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) announced that 8,500 students qualified for the 2026 DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarships from a total of 97,617 examinees nationwide.

According to DOST-SEI, the number of qualifiers was limited by the available budget for Fiscal Year 2026.
