02 June 2026 | Internal Quality Audit for 1st Semester CY 2026

As part of its commitment to continuous improvement and quality service delivery, the Office of the Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer (OPCDO) underwent its Internal Quality Audit for the First Semester of CY 2026 on June 2, 2026. The audit was conducted by Ms. Jas Bocalan-Magallanes of the Office of the Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (OPPDC) and Mr. Mac Mandenilla of Kawit Kalayaan Hospital (KKH).

The activity assessed the office's compliance with established quality management standards and provided an opportunity to identify strengths, address gaps, and further enhance operational processes.

OPCDO welcomes the recommendations generated from the audit and remains committed to sustaining a culture of quality, accountability, and continual improvement in the delivery of programs and services to its stakeholders.

01 June 2026 | Results-Based Performance Management Workshop: Enhancing SPMS Implementation in OPCDO

To strengthen organizational performance and accountability, the Office of the Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer (OPCDO) conducted the Results-Based Performance Management Workshop: Enhancing SPMS Implementation in OPCDO on June 1, 2026, at the UGF Function Hall, OPG Building, Cavite Provincial Government Center, Trece Martires City. The activity was facilitated by Ms. AJ Balanquit and Mr. Mark Lester Carada, members of the Provincial Government of Cavite's Performance Management Team (PMT).

The workshop enhanced participants' understanding of results-based performance management, accomplishment monitoring, and performance reporting, equipping personnel with practical knowledge to improve individual and office performance.

Armed with renewed insights and a shared commitment to excellence, the OPCDO team looks forward to applying these learnings to further improve service delivery and contribute to the achievement of the office's strategic goals.

Strengthening partnerships for inclusive development! On May 28, 2026, the Office of the Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer (OPCDO) participated in a Zoom meeting with representatives of Cavite State University (CvSU) - Sugar Palm Research, Information, and Trade (SPRINT) to discuss the implementation and potential collaboration opportunities for Project I.R.O.K. (Improving and Revitalizing the Opportunities for Kaong Farmers towards a Better Quality of Life).

The meeting provided a venue to align plans, clarify project components, and explore strategies that will maximize the project's impact on target beneficiaries. Through open dialogue and collaboration, participating institutions reaffirmed their commitment to supporting community development initiatives.

29 May 2026 | Oath-Taking of Newly Elected Officers of Cavite Zone Workers Multipurpose Cooperative

A new chapter of leadership begins for the Cavite Zone Workers Multipurpose Cooperative. On May 29, 2026, newly elected officers formally took their oath of office during a ceremony held in Imus City, administered by OPCDO Officer-in-Charge Ms. Myrachel P. Cuadra.

The oath-taking marked the official assumption of responsibilities by the cooperative's new set of leaders, reinforcing their commitment to uphold the principles of good governance, accountability, and service to their members.

Cavite Zone Workers Multipurpose Cooperative (CZWMPC) is a worker-led cooperative based in the Cavite Economic Zone that provides financial, consumer, and social services to its members. Originally established in 2012, the cooperative has grown from serving a single company to supporting workers across various PEZA locators in Cavite. Through cooperative education, community outreach, and member-centered programs, CZWMPC actively champions cooperativism as a means of empowering workers, promoting financial inclusion, and fostering sustainable community development

OPCDO remains committed to supporting cooperatives through capability-building and technical assistance initiatives that strengthen leadership and promote sustainable cooperative growth across the province.

Mondays to Thursdays - On-site - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Fridays - Work-from-Home - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The Office for the Development of Cooperatives – Bacoor and the City of Bacoor Cooperative Development Council successfully crafted their Cooperative Development Plan, aligned with the Provincial Cooperative Development Plan (PCDP) 2025–2028, last May 20, 2026. Nineteen (19) cooperatives from the Bacoor City Cooperative Development Council attended the planning session, together with the Office for the Development of Cooperatives – Bacoor, headed by Ms. Vicenta Lazaro.

Facilitated by the OPCDO-Cavite, headed by Ms. Myrachel P. Cuadra, the planning session provided a clearer direction on how each sector can contribute to the continuous growth and development of cooperatives in the City of Bacoor. Through collaborative discussions and strategic planning, the participants strengthened their commitment to promoting sustainable and empowered cooperatives within the city.
