'ITO AY PARA HINDI NA MATATAKOT ANG MGA NAGKAKASAKIT NA PUMUNTA SA PRIVATE HOSPITAL DAHIL WALA SILANG PAMBAYAD'

Ito ang naging pahayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa isang interview matapos pumirma ng memorandum of agreement (MOA) ang St. Luke's Medical Center - Global City at Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) ngayong Martes, August 25 kaugnay ng implementasyon ng "no co-payment policy."

Layon ng nasabing agreement na palawigin ang access sa mga specialized health care services ng mga pasyenteng walang pambayad sa mga private hospitals.

"Sa pamamagitan ng MOA na 'yan, ay ini-involve na natin, sinasama na natin ang mga private hospital sa ating mga programa para tulungan ang mga iba't ibang pasyente. Kaya't 'yung dating hindi nakakapunta sa private hospital kagaya ng St. Luke's ay matutulungan na makapunta dito at bibigyan natin ng suporta," saad ni Marcos. "Ito ay para hindi na matatakot ang mga nagkakasakit na pumunta sa private hospital dahil wala silang pambayad."

"Simula lang siguro ito... Nag-umpisa tayo sa St. Luke's, at paparamihin pa natin 'yan para lahat na talaga ng ating mga healthcare facilities ay kasama na sa mga programa natin para kahit na hindi lang 'yung mga may kaya ang makakapunta sa ating mga private hospital para makakuha sila nung specialized na healthcare na kung minsan ay kinakailangan nila ngunit wala silang pambayad kaya't hindi sila lumalapit at hindi sila nagpapatingin sa ating mga private hospital," dagdag pa niya.

"Ito 'yung mga bago nating ginagawa para palawakin pa rin ang suporta na ibinibigay natin sa ating mga pasyente para patibayin, pagandahin ang ating healthcare system para mas marami tayong matulungan at matamo na rin natin, maabot na rin natin 'yung ating pinapangarap na universal healthcare," saad pa ni Marcos.

Dinala ni Board Member Aidel Belamide ang karangalan ng lalawigan sa internationally-acclaimed heritage management forum na ginanap sa Penang, Malaysia.

Sa nasabing pagtitipon ng mga dalubhasa at lider sa rehiyon, ibinahagi ni BM Belamide ang mga subok at matagumpay na estratehiya ng Cavite sa pangangalaga ng pamanang pangkultura.
