LOOK: The Office of the City Environment and Natural Resources Officer (OCENRO), headed and represented by Arch. Ronnie Javier conducted a Lakbay Aral on the Solid Waste Management Program of Trece Martires City for participants from the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and the barangay officials of the Municipality of Amadeo, Cavite.

The activity was conducted on June 17, 2026, through the partnership between the OCENRO and MENRO Amadeo, headed by Mr. Maynard Ambion, as part of their continuing efforts to strengthen and advance solid waste management programs through knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices.

The participants visited Barangay Inocencio, having one of the best Material Recovery Facility in Trece Martires City.Brgy. Chairperson Rosendo Dilidili showcased their Bioreactor operations, turning biodegradable wastes into compost.

Last stop of the program is the site visit at the City Central Composting and Waste Recycling Facility, located at Brgy. De Ocampo. Here the participants observed the process of the City's Transfer Station and the production of EcoBricks made from pulverized plastics and glass.

Ang City Government of Trece Martires sa pamumuno ni Mayor Gemma Buendia Lubigan at Vice Mayor Bobby Montehermoso ay nakipagtulungan sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) at SM Trece Martires, upang makapagbahagi ng mas pinadaling serbisyo sa pagkuha ng mga Environmental permits at clearances.

DATE: 25 June 2026

The City Government of Trece Martires, headed by Hon. Mayor Gemma Buendia Lubigan, together with Vice Mayor Bobby Montehermoso, through the Office of the City Environment and Natural Resources, spearheaded the Tree Planting and Tree Growing Activity in celebration of Philippine Arbor Day with the theme, "Luntiang Bukas." The activity was conducted simultaneously at the designated planting sites across the city, including the City Central Composting and Waste Recycling Facility, the Trece Martires City Memorial Park, and vacant lots in all 13 barangays.

The program was actively participated in by all thirteen (13) Barangay Local Government Units (BLGUs), with the support of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). Various volunteers also joined the activity, demonstrating a shared commitment to environmental protection, urban greening, and sustainable development.

The activity commenced at 6:30 AM and concluded at 9:00 AM on 25 June 2026. A total of 503 participants, including volunteers from various sectors, took part in the tree planting and tree growing activities, contributing to the City's efforts to enhance its green spaces and promote environmental stewardship.

Isang maulan at makakalikasang umaga po sa lahat. Ipinapaalam po sa lahat na pangsamantalang wala po munang hakot ng basura ang ating lunsod sa kadahilanang di po makakapasok ang mga truck ng hauler sa Laguna Sanitary landfill dahil sa sobrang ulan at puno na dn po ang ating transfer station. Hinahanapan p po ng ating private hauler kung saan pwedeng dalhin ang ating mga basura. Mgbibigay po ulit kami ng updates regarding dito at pakiusap lng po na huwag po nating ilalabas muna sa mga kalsada ang ating mga basura. Maraming salamat po sa inyong pang-unawa.
