Witness the rhythm, artistry, and spirit of the 3rd District of Cebu as top YOUTH performers take the stage for Sayaw sa Pagpahayag happening on February 21, 2025, 7:00PM at the Toledo City Sports Center.

Representatives from the municipalities and one city of the 3rd District will showcase their creativity in celebration of National Arts Month of Cebu Province. The winning team will earn the honor of advancing to the provincial-level showdown.

NEW HEAVY-DUTY EQUIPMENT FOR TOLEDO'S QUICK CALAMITY RESPONSE

Toledo City has acquired new heavy-duty equipment to further strengthen its public service operations, especially in support of ongoing road-clearing efforts and various disaster response activities across the city. The newly procured machinery was blessed by Rev. Fr. Tamayo, witnessed by the ever-joyful Mayor Marjorie Perales, the members of the City Council and some of the department heads.

Meanwhile, the city also celebrated the birthday of the a.k.a. “good guy” Councilor, Hon. Eric Espinosa, who likewise received a special blessing during the ceremony.

This addition forms part of the city’s continuous efforts to improve service delivery, ensure safer communities, and enhance the efficiency of government projects for the benefit of all Toledonhons.

SK CHAIRPERSONS DRAFT ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026

As 2025 comes to a close, the SK Chairpersons of Toledo City are now preparing their annual budget for Fiscal Year 2026, ensuring that their programs, projects, and activities for the youth are well-planned and responsive to community needs.

This method ensures that each proposed program is properly evaluated, budgeted, and aligned with the SK’s mandate to empower and support the youth in their communities.

GOV PAM VISITS TOLEDO LANDSLIDE-AFFECTED AREA AFTER TYPHOON TINO

The People's Governor, Gov. Pamela Baricuatro, arrived at Brgy. Subayon to check on the communities affected by the landslide due to Typhoon Tino.

Upon her visit, Gov. Pam turned over 2 million thru a cheque to Mayor Marjorie Perales and City Council as calamity assistance for the typhoon-affected residents. Relief goods were also distributed to the residents of Brgy. Subayon.

KYLIE NATAD TAKES OATH AS VICE PRESIDENT OF THE LEAGUE OF PROVINCIAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS

Local Youth Development Officers (LYDOs) from across the Province of Cebu gathered at the Capitol yesterday for the official oath-taking ceremony of the League of Provincial Youth Development Officers, officiated by Gov. Pamela Baricuatro.

Representing Toledo City, our very own City Youth Development Officer, Ms. Kylie Natad, was elected as Vice President of the league. Her election reflects her unwavering dedication to youth empowerment, leadership development, and collaborative governance across the province.

PROJECT REVIVE PH OFFICIALLY JOINS THE PROVINCIAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL

The Provincial Youth Development Council (PYDC) of Cebu Province convened yesterday for the election of committees, oath-taking ceremony officiated by People's Governor Pamela Baricuatro and inaugural session, marking another milestone for youth participation in the province.

Representing Toledo City, Project Revive PH has been officially recognized as a member of the PYDC. The organization, led by Ms. Caren Basalo, continues to advocate for youth empowerment and community service.

Backed by the ever-supportive SKF President Hon. Cris Niño De Jesus, this recognition serves as a testament to Toledo’s active involvement and commitment to a sustainable and livable environment.

Sugbo Kahanas beneficiaries gathered at Brgy. Talavera Covered Court to receive their cheques and tool kits after having completed their skills assessment.

The distribution was led by Board Member Lorenz Lagon, Cebu Province - 3rd District office and was graced by the SKF President, Hon. Cristian Niño De Jesus.

A heartfelt gratitude is extended to the Province of Cebu and TESDA for this partnership initiative and to the officials of Brgy. Talavera for the warm accommodation.
