The City Assessor takes charge of the discovery, classification, appraisal and valuation of all real properties within his territorial jurisdiction which shall be used as basis for taxation purposes. VISION:
-A dynamic and proactive organization on real property tax administration ensuring efficient and effective appraisal, assessment, tax mapping and records management for all real prop

erties within the City of Toledo. MISSION:
-The office commits to be a major contributor to the revenues needed by the City in promoting public welfare and development thru proper valuation and assessment of all real properties within the territorial jurisdiction of Toledo City;
-The office seeks to insure the safekeeping of all vital assessment records and maps of real properties to preserve their history for the generations to come and to make it available to interested parties. Declaration for taxation purpose of all real properties, whether taxable or exempt, within the jurisdiction of Toledo;
b. Effective and efficient management of assessment records and updating and preservation of the real property tax maps;
c. Increase in real property tax and office service fees collection.
