Bright minds from Grade 9 and Grade 10 schools in Toboso are going head-to-head in the Quizify: The Academic Quest “Math Quiz Bee!”

Students from Andres Gumban MNHS, Bug-ang NHS, East Negros Academy Inc., Labilabi NHS, and Toboso NHS, showcase their problem-solving skills and quick thinking as they tackle challenging math questions.

This event sparks curiosity and sharpens analytical skills, helping students apply what they’ve learned in a fun, competitive environment. It’s more than just numbers, it’s about confidence, strategy, and academic excellence.

Creativity took center stage as 12 talented artists from our municipality came together for the Sketch Competition 2026. Each stroke reflected passion, imagination, and raw artistic skill turning the event into a true celebration of local talent.

This inspiring activity was facilitated by Joebert Bintad, Tourism staff, whose support helped bring artists together and highlight the creative spirit of the community.

Salute to all the artists who showcased their creativity and made this gathering a meaningful celebration of art and expression! 👏🖌️

📚 EMPOWERING EDUCATORS: Orientation & Needs Assessment for Early Learner Support 🤝

Through the initiative of Mayor Richard Jaojoco, and in partnership with the University of St. La Salle-Bacolod, we are conducting an activity that strengthens support for our early learners. This orientation and needs assessment is designed to equip our educators with the knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to ensure that no learner is left unequipped with essential reading, writing, and numeracy skills.

Joining this effort are School Heads from various schools in Toboso, selected Kinder teachers, and members of the Mayor’s Executive Team, all working together to build a stronger foundation for early education in our community.

We continue to empower the people who shape the minds of our children, ensuring that every Toboseño learner receives the support they need to succeed. ✨

This is the result of a unified team effort, and we thank the Almighty for His protection. We extend our deepest appreciation to the PNP, BFP, LDRRMO, volunteers, and constituents for their swift and collaborative actions.
