Typhoon Uwan is rapidly strengthening and is expected to become a super typhoon by Sunday, when it is forecast to make landfall. Wind signals have been raised, with Metro Manila and 52 provinces already under Signal No. 1. Heavy rainfall is expected as Typhoon Uwan crosses Luzon and Eastern Visayas.

Pray for protection and safety as we prepare for the coming winds and rain. May we keep our faith, knowing that God is our refuge in times of trouble. Letโ€™s also continue to pray for comfort and relief for those heavily affected by the recent typhoons.

As we hear news about Typhoon Uwan, many of us canโ€™t help but feel anxiousโ€”especially for our families and communities. In moments like this, we are reminded that while we canโ€™t control the weather, we can hold on to the One who calms the winds and seas.
