Department of Trade and Industry-Zamboanga Sibugay, through its Consumer Protection Division (CPD), conducted a Fair Trade Laws (FTL) Monitoring and Enforcement activity in Buug on May 11, 2026, as part of its continuing commitment to protect consumers and ensure compliance with fair trade regulations.

Business establishments were monitored for proper price tag display, business name registration compliance, product standards adherence, and observance of other consumer protection laws. The activity aims to promote responsible business practices and maintain a fair and transparent marketplace in the province.

DTI-ZSP continues to uphold consumer welfare and strengthen public confidence through proactive monitoring and enforcement initiatives.
