LOOK | A total of 198 college and senior high school students from the Municipality of Tigaon received financial assistance during the ASTIGS and Casa de Ylau Raya Orientation and Payout held on June 3, 2026, at the Tigaon Sports Complex.

The activity, facilitated by the Municipal Treasurer’s Office (MTO) and the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), provided beneficiaries with valuable information about the program and its opportunities for student support.

Through initiatives like these, the Local Government Unit of Tigaon continues to invest in the education and future of our young Tigaoneños, helping them pursue their academic goals and aspirations.

𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝙏𝙐𝙋𝘼𝘿 𝙥𝙖𝙮-𝙤𝙪𝙩

A total of 1,262 beneficiaries received assistance during the TUPAD payout activity held on May 21, 2026 at the Tigaon Sports Complex.

The activity was facilitated by personnel from the Department of Labor and Employment led by Cherry J. Brozula, in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office to ensure an orderly and efficient distribution of assistance to the beneficiaries.

Through the TUPAD Program, temporary employment and financial support continue to be extended to workers and families in need, reflecting the government’s commitment to helping communities and uplifting livelihoods.

The Local Government Unit of Tigaon extends its gratitude to all partner agencies, personnel, and staff who contributed to the successful conduct of this activity.

A joyful and meaningful atmosphere filled the “Senior’s Got Talent” competition held yesterday as part of the celebration of Senior Citizens Month in Tigaon. The event became a wonderful showcase of the talents, confidence, and vibrant spirit of our senior citizens, whose performances brought inspiration, laughter, and positivity to everyone present.

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected President of the Federation of Senior Citizens of Tigaon, Mr. Narciso DC Paqueo, together with the newly elected set of BASCA officers. May your leadership be guided with dedication and compassion as you continue to serve and strengthen the senior citizens community of Tigaon.
