In celebration of the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆, the teaching and non-teaching personnel of Teresa National High School, led by School Principal IV, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖. 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮, actively participated in a meaningful and patriotic commemoration of our nation’s freedom.

This year marks the 𝟭𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (1898–2026), a powerful reminder of the bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of our heroes who fought for the freedom we enjoy today.

The celebration began with a 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 at 𝗦𝘁. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵, offering prayers of gratitude for the sacrifices of our heroes and seeking continued guidance for our nation. This was followed by a 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 going to the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗮, 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹, symbolizing unity, pride, and love for country.

At the plaza, a short but significant program was conducted, highlighting the essence of “𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗮𝗻.” The program featured:

With the theme “𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗮𝗻. 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻. 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻.”, the event reminded everyone that the freedom we enjoy today was earned through sacrifice, and it is our duty to preserve it for future generations.

On 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, Teresa National High School successfully conducted its 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 under the leadership of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖. 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮, Principal IV, with the participation of both teaching and non-teaching personnel.

To ensure that classes were not disrupted and to maximize learning activities during the opening block, the meeting was conducted in two separate sessions. The 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 was held from 𝟭𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗡𝗡 for teachers handling 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟵, while the 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 took place from 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗡𝗡 𝘁𝗼 𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 for teachers handling 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟬.

During the meeting, important matters concerning school operations and the opening of classes were discussed, including the 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀' 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺, 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀. The gathering also served as a venue for collaboration, alignment of expectations, and the sharing of insights to further strengthen the school's programs and services.

The successful conduct of the meeting reflects the commitment of the TNHS community to maintaining uninterrupted learning while ensuring effective communication, coordination, and teamwork among school personnel.

As part of the school's commitment to ensuring a smooth and successful opening of School Year 2026–2027, Teresa National High School conducted a meeting with 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗘-𝗦𝗜𝗣 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀/𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗕𝗔𝗖 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀, and 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘀 on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, during the 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 activities on the third day of opening of classes.

Originally scheduled for June 5, the meeting was moved to June 10 to accommodate school operations and allow participants to focus on the immediate needs of the opening week. Discussions centered on updates regarding ESIP projects, the re-alignment of the Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) in accordance with the Three-Term Calendar, and other matters essential to the continuous improvement of school programs and services.

The gathering provided an opportunity for collaborative planning, coordination, and the assignment of key responsibilities to ensure the efficient implementation of school initiatives throughout the academic year.

On 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the officers of the 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. (𝗧𝗡𝗛𝗦𝗔𝗔𝗜), led by its President, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠. 𝗢𝗻𝗴, together with her fellow officers, paid a courtesy call to the newly appointed Principal IV of Teresa National High School, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖. 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮.

Prior to their visit to the school, the alumni officers also paid a courtesy call to the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗮, 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗡. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇, to formally introduce the newly elected officers of the association and seek the continued support of the local government for the organization's upcoming activities, particularly the highly anticipated 𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 scheduled for 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

During their meeting with Mayor Dela Cruz, the alumni officers also took the opportunity to follow up on the proposed construction of an additional school building on the newly acquired school/municipal property. This project remains a significant priority, as it aims to address the growing student population and alleviate classroom congestion, with some sections currently accommodating as many as 𝟳𝟱 𝘁𝗼 𝟴𝟬 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺.

The courtesy call with Dr. Sierra served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen the partnership between the school administration and the alumni association. Both parties shared their commitment to supporting initiatives that will benefit the learners, teachers, and the entire TNHS community.

The visit concluded with a photo opportunity, symbolizing unity, collaboration, and a shared vision for the continued growth and development of Teresa National High School.

📌 June 11, 2026 (Thursday) – Special Non-Working Holiday in the Province of Rizal in celebration of the 125th Araw ng Lalawigan ng Rizal; and

📌 June 12, 2026 (Friday) – Regular Holiday throughout the country in observance of the 128th Araw ng Kalayaan (Independence Day).

In view thereof, transactions with the Schools Division Office of Rizal and other concerns may be conducted on the next working day.
