Ito ay batay sa pagbilang mula noong Hunyo 12, 1898, nang ipahayag ni Emilio Aguinaldo ang kalayaan ng Pilipinas sa Kawit, Cavite.

Nakikiisa ang Gaddani National High School sa paggunita at pagpupugay sa kagitingan ng mga Pilipinong nag-alay ng kanilang buhay at patuloy na nagsusulong ng kalayaan, pagkakaisa, at kaunlaran ng ating bansa. Nawa’y magsilbi silang inspirasyon upang patuloy nating pahalagahan at ipagtanggol ang kalayaan na kanilang ipinaglaban para sa sambayanang Pilipino.

GNHS Conducts Learners’ Orientation to Promote a Safe, Healthy, and Child-Friendly School Environment

Gaddani National High School (GNHS) successfully conducted its Learners’ Orientation, to prepare students for the opening of classes and strengthen awareness of school policies, student welfare programs, and support services.
The orientation was conducted in two sessions: Grade 7 to Grade 10 learners attended from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., while Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners participated from 9:50 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.

Dr. Josephine Balmaceda, TVI discussed the importance of maintaining a safe, healthy, and protective learning environment. She emphasized that schools should guarantee both the physical and emotional safety of learners. She also highlighted the school's commitment to providing clean drinking water, functional and separate toilet facilities, clinic services, and nutrition programs to ensure that students remain healthy and well-nourished throughout the school year. Dr. Balmaceda stressed that GNHS prioritizes the well-being and positive experiences of every learner.

Mrs. Marneli Dela Cruz, TVI discussed the Child-Friendly School System (CFSS) and the policies that protect learners from various forms of abuse and violence. She explained that the school's child protection policies safeguard students against physical abuse, psychological abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, bullying and cyberbullying as provided under Republic Act No. 10627, as well as discrimination and other forms of violence. She encouraged learners to be vigilant and report any incidents that may threaten their safety and welfare.

Moreover, Mrs. Maria Angelina G. Crispin, MT II, Guidance Designate, discussed the importance of maintaining a peaceful and harmonious school environment. She reminded students to avoid conflicts and practice respect, discipline, and responsible behavior. Mrs. Crispin also explained the role of the Guidance Office in addressing students' concerns and providing assistance to learners facing personal, academic, or social challenges.

The orientation served as an important platform to inform learners about their rights, responsibilities, and the support systems available within the school. Through this activity, GNHS reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and learner-centered environment where every student can thrive and succeed.

SDO Abra Oplan Balik Eskwela Team Visits GNHS
Gaddani National High School (GNHS), under the leadership of Dr. Silverio T. Cariño, Principal IV, warmly welcomed the SDO Abra Oplan Balik Eskwela 2026 Monitoring Team during their school visit.

The monitoring team was composed of Dr. Janet Pascioles, Sir Jansen Damian, and Ms. Inelda T. Buena, who served as the secretary. The visit aimed to assess the school's readiness and the implementation of programs and activities for the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027.

Dr. Cariño, together with the faculty and staff, presented the school's preparations to ensure a safe, orderly, and learner-friendly opening of classes. The monitoring team also observed school operations and provided support and guidance to further strengthen the school's delivery of quality education.

The visit reflects the commitment of SDO Abra and GNHS to ensuring a smooth and successful opening of the school year for all learners.

GNHS HOLDS PTA GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Gaddani National High School (GNHS) successfully conducted its Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) General Assembly bringing together parents, guardians and teachers to discuss important school programs and initiatives for the School Year 2026–2027.

During the assembly, Mrs. Maria Angelina G. Crispin, PTA Coordinator, presented and discussed the school's Three-Term System, providing parents and guardians with information regarding its implementation and benefits for learners.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Josephine Balmaceda, SSLG Adviser, discussed the Gender-Responsive and Non-Discriminatory Student Discipline Manual (GRaNdSDiSM), highlighting the school's rules and regulations and emphasizing the importance of maintaining discipline while promoting a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. She also presented the ARAL Program, which aims to strengthen learners' academic performance through targeted learning interventions.

Following the General Assembly, homeroom PTA meetings were conducted in each class for the election of Homeroom PTA officers and the discussion of class-related concerns. Afterward, the election of the General PTA officers was held.

GNHS, Tayum BFP Conduct Earthquake and Fire Safety Lecture

Gaddani National High School (GNHS), in cooperation with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) of Tayum, conducted an Earthquake and Fire Safety Awareness Lecture during the Opening Block on June 9, 2026.

The program was attended by senior high school students, class advisers, faculty members, staff, and the school nurse.

SFO2 Anna May Gareza, Chief of Operations, discussed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” protocol. She emphasized that knowledge of proper earthquake safety procedures can save lives during emergencies. She also highlighted the importance of checking daily attendance records, noting that emergencies are unpredictable and accurate attendance helps ensure everyone's safety and accountability.

Following this, FO1 Jaylynn Joy L. Banwa, Community Relations Officer (CRO), demonstrated the proper use of a fire extinguisher and explained its different parts. She stressed its importance as a vital safety tool and encouraged students to familiarize themselves with its operation.

Meanwhile, FO1 Mark G. Ganaden of the Fire Safety Enforcement Section (FSES) concluded the lecture by sharing essential home fire safety tips. He urged the public to save and use the municipal hotline, 0912-801-3645, during emergencies. According to FO1 Ganaden, knowing and utilizing the local emergency hotline can help reduce response and travel time for rescuers, allowing them to provide assistance more quickly.

The lecture promoted emergency awareness and preparedness among students, ensuring that they not only learned important safety concepts but also understood how to apply them in real-life situations.

GNHS WELCOMES LEARNERS ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Excitement and enthusiasm filled the campus of Gaddani National High School as learners officially returned for the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027.

To ensure a smooth and organized start of the school year, teachers stationed at the school's Help Desk warmly accommodated parents and students, addressing inquiries and concerns regarding enrollment, class assignments, schedules, and other school-related matters. This initiative helped learners and their families feel welcomed and guided as they entered the school premises. Personnel from the Tayum MPS were also present to help ensure peace, order and safety of everyone.

The day began with a flag ceremony attended by students, teachers, and school personnel. Following the ceremony, each teaching and non-teaching personnel introduced themselves to the learners, fostering familiarity and establishing positive connections between teachers and students.

Inside their respective classrooms, advisers facilitated a series of meaningful activities designed to create a supportive and learner-friendly environment. These included Getting-to-Know-You Activities, which allowed students to interact with their classmates and teachers, helping build camaraderie and confidence.

Advisers also conducted Homeroom Guidance and Values Formation Sessions to orient learners on school expectations, promote positive behavior, and reinforce core values essential for academic and personal growth.

In addition, learners participated in a Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) Well-Being Check, providing teachers with an opportunity to assess students' emotional readiness and overall well-being as they begin another academic year. This activity aimed to ensure that learners feel safe, supported, and prepared for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

The successful opening of classes reflects the commitment of Gaddani National High School to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every learner can thrive.

As the new school year begins, the school community remains dedicated to fostering academic excellence, character development, and the holistic well-being of all learners.
