Not sure if you’re safe from storm surges? 🤨🤨

Don’t worry! here are some simple safety tips to help you get prepared. ✅ Follow these tips, and stay safe and ready no matter what!

Before a Storm Surge 💛

📌Stay updated with weather forecasts and warnings from PAGASA or local authorities.
📌Prepare a “go bag” with essentials (food, water, clothes, medicine, flashlight, batteries, and important documents).
📌Identify safe evacuation centers or higher ground in advance.

During a Storm Surge ❤️

📌Follow evacuation orders immediately;do not wait until it’s too late.
📌If trapped, go to the highest level of your home.
📌Stay away from beaches, coastal areas, and rivers.

After a Storm Surge 💚

📌Help neighbors, especially the elderly, children, or those with disabilities.
📌Wait for official announcements before going back home.

Have you ever wondered how volcano eruptions happen? There are various types of volcanoes, all with different ways of erupting.

DRRR Group 1 presents this informative video all about volcanoes! Featuring an easy experiment that demonstrates volcanic eruptions, it can be easily done in your home - the ingredients are as follows:
- Red food coloring
- Dishwashing soap
- Vinegar
- Baking soda
The desired result will have fizz come to the top of your container, where carbon dioxide gas builds and pushes the mixture out! Just remember to keep yourself safe and clean your space after.

Typhoons are a common occurrence here in the Philippines, where casualties and damages are inevitable if we do not act to make our environment better suited for withstanding typhoons. That is why we must be able to prepare and stay aware of what is happening in our surroundings! Here is DRRR Group 1 with their video of a news broadcast.

Make sure that before a disaster hits, have the following emergency supplies:

- Medicine
- First Aid Kit

BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY!

From Hosea 4:6 [ESV], it said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.”
