PALAWAN PPO NABS MUNICIPAL TOP 1, PROVINCIAL TOP 6 MOST WANTED PERSON IN AGUTAYA, PALAWAN

𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗔 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘇𝗮, 𝗦𝗿., 𝗣𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 – The Palawan Police Provincial Office (PalPPO), under the leadership of PCOL JOEL D CASUPANAN, Provincial Director, successfully arrested the Municipal Top 1 Most Wanted Person and Provincial Top 6 Most Wanted Person during a law enforcement operation conducted at around 1:00 PM on July 18, 2026, in Barangay Bangcal, Agutaya, Palawan.

The operation was carried out by personnel of the Agutaya Municipal Police Station (MPS), under the supervision of PCPT LEO L BACUNGA, Officer-in-Charge, in coordination with the Palawan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PalPIU), leading to the arrest of the accused, alias “Lito,” 43 years old, widower, carpenter, and a resident of Barangay Manamoc, Cuyo, Palawan.

The accused was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest dated June 29, 2026, issued by Hon. Arlene Bayuga Guillen, Presiding Judge of Branch 13, Family Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Puerto Princesa City, for Qualified R**e of a Minor under Article 266-A, Paragraph 1(d), in relation to Article 266-B, Paragraph 1 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 11648. The court recommended no bail for the temporary liberty of the accused.

Following his arrest, the accused was informed of the nature of his arrest and of his constitutional rights in a language he understood. He is now under the custody of Agutaya MPS for documentation and proper disposition prior to his turnover to the issuing court.

PCOL Casupanan commended the operating personnel for the successful operation and reiterated the Palawan PPO’s commitment to ensuring that wanted persons are brought before the courts to face the charges against them.

“Ang matagumpay na pagkakaaresto sa Municipal Level Rank No. 1 at Provincial Level Rank No. 6 Most Wanted Person ay patunay ng dedikasyon at mahusay na koordinasyon ng ating mga kapulisan sa pagpapatupad ng batas. Hindi tayo titigil sa pagtugis sa mga taong may pananagutan sa batas upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng ating mga mamamayan at maihatid ang hustisya sa mga biktima. Patuloy nating paiigtingin ang ating kampanya laban sa mga wanted person bilang bahagi ng ating pangakong magsilbi at magbigay ng ligtas na pamayanan para sa lahat,” PCOL Casupanan said.

‎Arestado ng Palawan Police Provincial Office ang Top 6 Regional Most Wanted Person na nahaharap sa tatlong kaso ng r**e sa isinagawang operasyon bandang 1:30 PM nitong July 4, 2026 sa Purok Tigkawayan 1, Barangay Candawaga, Rizal, Palawan.

‎Pinangunahan ng Rizal Municipal Police Station ang operasyon, katuwang ang Regional Intelligence Unit 4B, Provincial Intelligence Unit ng Palawan PPO, 4th Platoon ng 1st Palawan Provincial Mobile Force Company, at Rizal-MLET.
‎
‎Kinilala ang suspek na si alyas "Minmin", 25 anyos, PWD, mangingisda, at residente ng Brgy. Candawaga, Rizal, Palawan. Ito ay naaresto sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest na inilabas noong June 24, 2026 ni presiding judge Panfilo I. Sala Jr, ng Branch 165, ng Fourth Judicial Region, sa bayan ng Brooke’s Point, Palawan.

‎Nahaharap ang suspek sa tatlong bilang ng paglabag sa Anti-R**e Law of 1997 o Republic Act No. 8353, na Walang piyansa kaakibat sa lahat ng kaso.

‎Nadakip ng mga operatiba ng Brooke’s Point Municipal Police Station ang isang 20-anyos na lalaki sa ikinasang operasyon sa Brgy. Oring-Oring Brooke’s Point, Palawan.

‎Isinagawa ang pag-aresto katuwang ang Provincial Intelligence Unit ng Palawan PPO at ang 2nd Special Operations Unit ng PNP Maritime Group.

‎Ayon sa ulat, naaresto ang suspek sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest na inilabas ni presiding judge Panfilo Intud Sala Jr, ng Regional Trial Court Branch 165, Brooke’s Point.

‎Nahaharap ang akusado sa kasong paglabag sa Section 10(a) ng Republic Act No. 7610 o Ang Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, sa ilalim ng Criminal Case No. 26-02714-BPT. na may inirerekomendang piyansa sa halagang P80,000.

FOOT PATROL
Personnel of the Taytay Municipal Police Station led by PCpl Julious U Magbanua, conducted Foot Patrol at around 9:30 AM of May 31, 2026 at Brgy. Poblacion, Taytay, Palawan. The activity forms part of the stations tactical target hardening and proactive measures aimed at preventing the occurrence of crimes and thwarting any attempts by lawless elements to disrupts peace and order. This initiative reflects the continuing commitment of the station to safeguarding the community and ensuring that everyone is safety and confidence.

ARREST OF SUSPECT IN STABBING INCIDENT AT TAYTAY, PALAWAN
Taytay MPS arrest the suspect in connection with the stabbing incident that occurred on May 7, 2026, in Brgy. Paglaum, Taytay, Palawan.
On May 12, 2026, at approximately 10:30 AM, personnel of Taytay MPS, together with the Provincial Intelligence and Detective Management Unit arrested a suspect, a 35 years old, male, farmer, and resident of Brgy. Poblacion, Taytay, Palawan, after he voluntarily surrendered.
The arrest followed a manhunt operation conducted after a concerned citizen provided information on May 11, 2026, regarding the identity of the alleged suspect. During follow-up investigation, recovered pieces of evidence were found in a grassy area along the barangay road in Brgy. Bato, Taytay, Palawan, based on the suspect’s indication. The blue Yamaha Mio Gravis motorcycle allegedly used by the suspect was also recovered in Brgy. Poblacion, Taytay, Palawan.
On May 8, 2026, at 7:00 AM, a Postmortem Examination by the attending physician, indicating multiple stab wounds on the victim’s body. On the same date, the Provincial Forensic Unit conducted crime scene processing, while PIDMU investigators assisted Taytay MPS during the follow-up operations.
A case for Robbery with Homicide had been filed against the above-mentioned suspect before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor thru Inquest Proceeding but fall into Regular Filing on May 14, 2026.
Said suspect opted to remain under the custody of Taytay MPS for his own security reason and executed a “ Waiver of Rights under Article 125 of Revised Penal Code” duly notarized by a Notary Public.
