On May 15, 2026, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) MIMAROPA participated as a resource organization during the Philippine Federation of Credit Cooperatives' (PFCCO) Education Forum, held in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
DTI Palawan Provincial Director Hazel Salvador facilitated a discussion on the initiatives of the agency in supporting the growth of cooperatives through technology and digital transformation.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through the Negosyo Center Taytay, in partnership with the Small Business Corporation and the Local Government Unit of Taytay, successfully conducted a Financing Forum for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on April 16, 2026, at the Municipal Covered Court, Poblacion, Taytay, Palawan.

The activity aimed to introduce various financing opportunities and provide essential support to MSMEs, enabling them to gain better access to financial services and strengthen their business operations.

A total of 103 entrepreneurs from different barangays of Taytay, representing various sectors of business, actively participated in the said forum.
