The Bureau of Fire Protection joins the government in celebrating the National Peace Consciousness Month. This is recognizing the need to raise public awareness and understanding of the comprehensive peace process in order to strengthen and sustain institutional and popular support for national peace efforts.

This year's theme, “Healing as One Nation, Recovering as a Better Generation”, a rallying call for unity and cooperation among Filipinos in the midst of the pandemic.

Through this year's Peace Month theme, OPAPP is sending the message that as we heal as one nation, we, as Filipinos, are also working towards transforming ourselves into a better, stronger and more resilient generation. Moreover, in line with our Peace and Transformation Agenda, we seek the healing not only of the physical wounds of armed conflict, but the psychosocial healing from years of pain, fear and trauma caused by historical injustices, human rights violations, discrimination and marginalization. We shall aim to rebuild social trust, address issues of intolerance, and nurture respect for human rights towards just and lasting peace, reconciliation, and unity.

"SA PAG-IWAS SA SUNOG, HINDI KA NAG-IISA"

Emergency exits are important because they provide a clear, safe way to evacuate a building in case of a fire or disaster. BFP-Taytay Fire Station would like to remind everyone how important to provide not one, but two emergency exit routes in case one exit is blocked or is dangerous to use. First responders may also utilize emergency exits to enter a building during a disaster such as fire and other emergencies.
