On August 31, 2026 at about 08:00 AM, personnel of Tarragona MPS led by PCPT LOURD ARLIEGH C VALDEVIESO, OIC, conducted Simultaneous checkpoint along the highway of Brgy. Jovellar, Tarragona, Davao Oriental.
The activity was carried out as part of the Philippine National Police's intensified law enforcement and public safety campaign aimed at preventing the entry and movement of criminals, unauthorized fi****ms, explosives, and other contraband within the municipality. It also sought to enhance police visibility, deter the commission of crimes, and ensure the safety and security of motorists, commuters, and the general public.
