Empowering Local Entrepreneurs through Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurial Mindsetting

The Provincial Government of Tarlac, through the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (Tarlac PCEDO) in partnership with PESO Tarlac Province and PESO Tarlac City, successfully conducted a Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurial Mindsetting Training for groups of MSMEs from Tarlac City and the Municipality of San Jose, Tarlac.

The activity aimed to strengthen participants’ financial management skills, develop their entrepreneurial mindset, and equip them with practical knowledge to better manage and grow their livelihood and business ventures.

This collaborative initiative was made possible through the support of the Provincial Government of Tarlac under the leadership of Governor Christian Yap and the Tarlac City Government under the leadership of Mayor Susan Yap, through PESO Tarlac City headed by PESO Manager Ms. Gina Garcia.

Through strong partnerships and continuing capacity-building initiatives, Tarlac PCEDO remains committed to empowering Tarlaqueño entrepreneurs and creating more opportunities for sustainable livelihood, enterprise growth, and local economic development.

Strengthening Communities through Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship

In partnership with PESO Tarlac Province and Sta. Ignacia PESO, the Provincial Government of Tarlac, through the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (Tarlac PCEDO), successfully conducted a Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurial Mindsetting Training for members of the following organizations:

-Labney Tribe Organization
-Camiling CBFM Rural Workers Association
-Indigenous People Center for Agriculture and Resources for Economic Development (IPCARED)
-Sta. Ignacia Emergency Response Team, Inc.

The activity aimed to strengthen participants’ financial management skills, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, and equip them with practical knowledge that can support sustainable livelihood and income-generating opportunities.

Through continued partnerships and capacity-building initiatives, Tarlac PCEDO remains committed to empowering communities and creating more opportunities for inclusive and sustainable local economic development.

8.19.26.Day.1 Tarlac PCEDO is now facilitating the conduct of the Cooperative Business Continuity and Resiliency Seminar for various cooperatives in the Province of Tarlac.

PCEDO Head Marvi T. Dela Cruz welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of business continuity and resiliency in ensuring that cooperatives remain operational and responsive despite disruptions and challenges.

The seminar features resource speakers from CDA Region III, Jenalyn D. Ferrer and Karen Krystel F. Isais, who are sharing their knowledge and expertise on strengthening the preparedness and resilience of cooperatives.

This was the heartfelt message of Ms. Mercedes G. Dajon of Barangay Bobon Caarosipan, Camiling, Tarlac, one of the beneficiaries of the Barangay Microfinance Program of the Provincial Government of Tarlac.

Through the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (Tarlac PCEDO), the program continues to provide accessible financial assistance to Tarlaqueños who seek to start, sustain, or expand their livelihood activities.

Strengthening Transport Cooperatives through Cooperative Development Training

The Provincial Government of Tarlac, through the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (Tarlac PCEDO), successfully conducted a four-day webinar on Fundamentals of Cooperatives and Governance and Management of Cooperatives for the officers and members of the following transport cooperatives:

1. Pgt Transeco
2. Wheels Tarlac Transport Service Cooperative
3. San Jose San Manuel Balingcanaway Transport Service Cooperative
4. Bamban Dapdap Angeles Transport Cooperative

Conducted upon the request of the participating cooperatives, the webinar aimed to strengthen leadership capabilities, enhance the knowledge and skills of officers and members, and promote sound governance and effective cooperative management.

Through cooperative development trainings, seminars, and technical assistance, Tarlac PCEDO continues to empower cooperatives toward sound governance, sustainable operations, and long-term growth.

The Provincial Government of Tarlac, through the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (Tarlac PCEDO), continues to implement the Barangay Microfinance Program, providing communities with access to financial assistance that supports livelihood and income-generating activities.

Among the beneficiaries is Ms. Evangeline Vallejo of Brgy. Bobon Caarosipan, Camiling, Tarlac, who expressed her gratitude for the assistance and the opportunities provided by the program.

Empowering OFWs through Digital Marketing and Business Development

Just concluded! The Provincial Government of Tarlac, through the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (Tarlac PCEDO), successfully conducted a Digital Marketing Seminar and Pangangalaga at Pagpapalago ng Negosyo for members of OFW associations from different barangays in Victoria, Tarlac.

The activity aimed to equip participants with practical knowledge on using digital platforms to promote their products and services, while strengthening their skills in managing, sustaining, and growing their businesses.

Supporting Tarlaqueño Entrepreneurs through Business Loan Assistance Program

Today, the Provincial Government of Tarlac, through the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (Tarlac PCEDO), awarded Business Loan Assistance Program checks to two local entrepreneurs:

-Mr. Cesar Apostol – Mang Cesar Fish Farm, Cabaruan, Sta. Ignacia, Tarlac
-Ms. Nerlyn Perez – Perez’s Tutorial Services, Matatalaib, Tarlac City

The awarding was held at the 5th Floor, PCEDO, Tarlac Capitol Center Building, San Roque, Tarlac City.

Through its Business Loan Assistance Program, the Provincial Government continues to provide accessible financial support to help local entrepreneurs strengthen their businesses, sustain their operations, and create more economic opportunities in their communities.

Supporting Communities through Barangay Microfinance Program

Today, the Provincial Government of Tarlac, through the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (Tarlac PCEDO), awarded a Barangay Microfinance Program check to Barangay Poblacion Norte, San Clemente, Tarlac, headed by Barangay Captain Dr. Marie Carmela Estrada.

The awarding was held at the 5th Floor, PCEDO, Tarlac Capitol Center Building, San Roque, Tarlac City.

Through this program, the Provincial Government continues to provide financial opportunities that support livelihood activities, encourage grassroots entrepreneurship, and help strengthen local communities across Tarlac.
