301CDC Conducts Change of Command Ceremony
Camp Tinio, Nueva Ecija — The Headquarters, 301st Community Defense Center, 3rd Regional Community Defense Group, Philippine Army, formally conducted a Change of Command Ceremony at H301CDC, Camp Tinio, Nueva Ecija.
The ceremony formally marked the relinquishment of command by Lieutenant Colonel Ron Michael M. Soriao, outgoing Acting Community Defense Center Director, and the assumption of command by Lieutenant Colonel Ricky B. Macaraeg, incoming Community Defense Center Director. The activity was presided over by Colonel Mario Lito I. Retirva, Group Commander, 3rd Regional Community Defense Group.
The Change of Command Ceremony is a significant military tradition that symbolizes the formal transfer of authority, responsibility, and accountability from one commander to another. It likewise signifies the continuity of leadership and the sustained commitment of the unit toward the accomplishment of its mandated mission.
During his tenure, LTC Soriao demonstrated dedicated leadership, professionalism, and commitment to duty in guiding the personnel of 301CDC in the performance of their respective responsibilities. His contributions to the unit's mission and accomplishments were recognized as he formally relinquished command.
Meanwhile, LTC Macaraeg formally assumed command of 301CDC, signifying the beginning of his leadership and stewardship of the unit. As the new Community Defense Center Director, he is entrusted with the responsibility of sustaining the unit's accomplishments, enhancing its operational readiness, and ensuring the effective implementation of the Philippine Army's reserve force development and community defense programs.
With the successful transition of leadership, 301CDC remains committed to maintaining a high state of readiness and strengthening its capabilities in support of the 3RCDG's mission and the Philippine Army's mandate of building a capable and responsive reserve force for the nation.
