SSTS and LTO, Tarlac District Office MOP Signing
A stronger and remarkable partnership transpired between the Service Support Training School, Support Command, Philippine Army and Land Transportation Office, Tarlac District Office on 06 November 2025. In the presence of Ms. Amalia P Sigua, Supervising Transportation Regulation Officer, Tarlac District Office, the two organization formalized collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Partnership (MOP) which was conducted at Headquarters SSTS, SPTCOM, PA, Camp Aquino, San Miguel Tarlac City.

This partnership highlights and strengthens the ongoing commitment of both the SSTS, under the leadership of COL GERALD M REGIS OS (GSC) PA, and the LTO Tarlac to foster students in terms of theoretical and practical assessments during the driving-related trainings conducted by the school.

Strengthening Ties Through Leadership Exchange: Visit of CWO Chua Hock Guan at SSTS, SPTCOM, PA

The Support Service Training School (SSTS, SPTCOM, PA), had the honor of welcoming Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) Chua Hock Guan, Singapore Armed Forces Sergeant Major, and his party during his official visit.

CWO Chua was warmly welcomed by Officers and Enlisted personnel of SSTS, expressing camaraderie and strong bonds between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).

During the visit, CWO Chua engaged in a series of activities aimed at sharing best practices and fostering professional exchanges in leadership, training, and troops development. He toured the school’s facilities, observed ongoing training modules, and interacted with instructors and students, providing valuable insights drawn from his extensive experience as a senior enlisted leader in the SAF.

In his remarks, CWO Chua emphasized the importance of professional military education, leadership by example, and cross-border cooperation. He noted that both nations’ armed forces share a common commitment to discipline, professionalism, and service excellence.

The said visit also served as a platform to further strengthen bilateral defense relations, underscoring the role of Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO’s) in shaping capable, resilient, and mission-ready armed forces.

The United States Marine Corps (USMC) personnel conducted an exit visit to COL GERALD M. REGIS OS (GSC) PA, Commandant of the Service Support Training School (SSTS), SPTCOM, PA, on 24 September 2025.
During the visit, USMC personnel shared their expertise as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for the ongoing Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialist Course Class 03-2025. Their active involvement provided valuable insights that enriched the conduct of the training.
This collaboration highlights the strong partnership between SSTS and foreign counterparts, ensuring that the course participants benefit from a wide range of perspectives, advanced knowledge, and tested practices in the field of CBRN operations. The engagement underscores the importance of global cooperation in building highly skilled and adaptive professionals capable of addressing diverse CBRN challenges.
