On August 12, 2026, the Technical Working Group for the Balog-Balog Multipurpose Project Phase II (BBMP II) convened at the NIA-BBMP II Function Hall in Matatalaib, Tarlac City. Although the meeting was originally scheduled to end at the usual time, it was extended until 6:30 PM to accommodate critical deliberations on the resettlement program. The group thoroughly reviewed the eligibility criteria for the proposed list of additional families from Barangays Maamot, Dirita, and Tangan-Tangan, and established clear rules to exclude unrelated claims. Following these discussions, the additional list for Maamot Proper was finalized, while the inclusion of families from Dirita and Tangan-Tangan will be reviewed and finalized at the next meeting.
Attendees included BBMP II PMO Officials led by the Project Manager, Barangay Chairperson, Maamot, San Jose, Hon. Rosemarie T. Viniegas; IPMR, Maamot, Mr. Tolendo L. Capitle; San Jose Municipal IPMR, Ms. Marilou G. Modelo; NCIP Representative, Atty. Sharmaine Valenzuela, LGU San Jose, Tarlac Representative, Atty. Fatima Morales, and CENRO-Capas Representative, Mr. Emmanuel T. Razalan.

Kim-Valentino Taguinaldo, Technical Assistant for ROW and Resettlement, attended the meeting.
