Based on the weather observations and analyses, occasional to frequent rains associated with the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) have been observed over the past five days. This signifies the onset of the rainy season across the western sections of Luzon and the Visayas.

However, monsoon breaks may still occur and last for several days or weeks.

Under the leadership of Mayor Noel L. Villanueva and under the supervision of Ronald Bautista, LDRRM Officer together with the CSSR Team, the MDRRMO Concepcion has been tapped to assist in the ongoing Search, Rescue & Retrieval Operations and Clearing Operations at the collapsed 9-storey building in Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City. Together with the other Local DRRMs, PDRRMOs and national response teams, our rescuers continue to conduct intensive and careful operations to search for the missing, conduct clearing activities, and support other response efforts under the Unified Command System. MDRRMO Concepcion continues to exhibit their dedication, readiness, and concern in serving during disasters and emergencies. At the same time, the safety of all responders in the operational area remains a priority. Let us continue to pray for the safety of our rescuers and the successful continuation of the operation for the benefit of the affected families and communities.
