Heavy rainfall outlook due to Southwest Monsoon

Today to tomorrow afternoon (June 3)
(50-100 mm):
Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Pangasinan, Bulacan, Tarlac, Pampanga, , Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan

Forecast rainfall may be higher in mountainous and elevated areas. Moreover, impacts in some areas may be worsened by significant antecedent rainfall.

The public disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measure to protect life and property. PAGASA Regional Services Divisions may issue Heavy Rainfall Warnings/Thunderstorms Advisories, and other severe weather information specific to their areas of responsibility as appropriate.

Unless significant changes occur, the next Weather Advisory will be issued at 11:00 PM today.

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Bataan, Bulacan and within the next 2 hours.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.

Handa Ka Ba? Lindol: Bago, Habang, at Pagkatapos! 🌍
Ang pagiging LIGTAS ay nagsisimula sa PAGHAHANDA!
Bilang bahagi ng ating paghahanda, inihanda ng CDRRMO Imus ang kumpletong gabay na ito. I-swipe at tingnan ang mga larawan upang malaman ang mga tamang aksyon na dapat gawin:

🚨 BAGO LUMINDOL (Preparedness is Key!)
-Ihanda ang Emergency Kit: May sapat na ba kayong tubig, pagkain, at first aid kit?
-Siguraduhing Secure ang mga Gamit: Itali ang mabibigat na aparador, TV, at iba pang dekorasyon.
-Gumawa ng Plano: Alamin ang meeting point at communication plan ng pamilya.
-Mag-practice ng "D.C.H.O.": Sanayin ang DROP, COVER, AND HOLD ON sa bawat bahagi ng inyong bahay.

⚠️ HABANG MAY LINDOL (Safety First!)
-DROP, COVER, AND HOLD ON: Pumunta sa ilalim ng matibay na mesa at takpan ang ulo at leeg.
-Huwag Lumabas Agad: Manatili sa loob hanggang huminto ang pagyanig. Iwasan ang mga bintana.
-Kung Nasa Sasakyan: Huminto nang ligtas sa gilid ng daan at manatili sa loob.

✅ PAGKATAPOS NG LINDOL (Stay Alert!)
-Suriin ang Sarili at Iba: Tingnan kung may nasugatan at magbigay ng first aid kung kinakailangan.
-Mag-ingat sa Panganib: Iwasan ang mga sirang salamin, bumagsak na kable ng kuryente, at mga nasirang istruktura.
-Makibalita: Makinig sa radyo o TV para sa opisyal na updates.
-Maghanda para sa Aftershocks: Manatiling alerto dahil maaaring sundan pa ng mas mahihinang pagyanig.

Patuloy na nakaaapekto ang Southwest Monsoon o Habagat sa malaking bahagi ng Luzon. Ang Habagat ay isang weather system na nagdadala ng mainit at mamasa-masang hangin mula sa karagatan na maaaring magdulot ng tuloy-tuloy o pabugso-bugsong pag-ulan, lalo na sa mga kanlurang bahagi ng bansa.

Sa lalawigan ng Cavite, inaasahan ang paminsan-minsang pag-ulan dulot ng Habagat. May posibilidad din ng pagbaha sa mga mabababang lugar at mga lugar na may mahinang daluyan ng tubig kung magtatagal o lalakas ang pag-ulan.

Samantala, wala namang binabantayang Low Pressure Area (LPA) sa loob o malapit sa Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) na may posibilidad na maging isang tropical cyclone sa kasalukuyan.

Tandaan ang 4 T’s para walang pamahayan ng lamok:
✅ TAOB - Itaob ang mga lalagyang may lamang tubig.
✅ TAKTAK - Itaktak ang mga lalagyan para masigurong walang itlog ng lamok o kitikiti.
✅ TUYO - Gumamit ng pamunas para tuyuin ang loob ng mga lalagyan.
✅ TAKIP - Takpan ang mga ito nang maayos.
