Following the tragic incident where a young man drowned and was later found in the river of Barangay Suphangan, a JOINT river clean-up drive was conducted by Barangay Suphangan and Barangay Gapao Balindong on October 15,2025 under the directive of our Municipal Mayor Hon.Prof.Nashiba G. Sumagayan.
The activity aimed to clear waste and debris along the river and promote safety and cleanliness in the river. The said clean-up drive led by BDRRMO Farouk Musa, BDRRMO Acmad Colangcag and volunteers participated actively. The initiative strengthened community cooperation and raised awareness on environmental care and safety in river areas.
