Brgy. San Nicolas Religious and Parochial Fiesta 2024 in cooperation with San Nicolas Brgy. Council presents Zumba NaNice!
Mechanics and Guidelines:
1. Open for all Nanay from one barangay/mixed barangays.
2. Each group shall be composed of a minimum of 10 dancers up to a maximum of 20 dancers.
2. Members of the group may be composed of all Nanay. Three points (3) are deducted if there are excess of deficient in number of participants.
3. Order of Performances will be based on the number they had pick during the contest.
4. Groups must submit the music before the contest at the operator with label, no cassette tapes allowed, no live band or musicians allowed. There should be a back-up copy in case the submitted music fails to play.
5. No Professional dancers or trainers be Part of the group. There shall three points (3) deduction in the contest if the groups fails to follow.
6. Music and Choreography should be wholesome and lively must not contains any subliminal, sexually suggestive and vulgar lyrics / language or suggestive act.
7. The Group Contest should contain at least 60% in modernized/stylized music and is in fast modern tempo.
8. The Performance must be at least 5 minutes but not more than 7 minutes. Any excess in time will have three (3) points deduction/ min total score . However each group will be given 2 minutes to prepare / set up any props or equipmentโs needed on stage/ performing area.
9. Use of props will be allow as long as it will not cause any delay in the program and any harm to the performance of other groups
10. Appropriate clothing should be observed throughout the competition. Attire may include accessories such hats, caps, gloves, scarves, jewelries, etc. removing pieces of clothing during the performance is allowed provided that it is not offensive or out of the character.
11. Due to the limited space venue, dance group participants are advised to inspect the dance area. Venue of performance and judging will be in San Nicolas Civic Center at exactly 1:00 in the afternoon on Dec. 4, 2024.
12. PRIZES:
CHAMPION : 5,000 + Trophy & Certificates
1st Runner โ Up : 4, 000 + Trophy & Certificates
2nd Runner โ Up: 3,000 + Trophy & Certificates
Consolation Prizes: 1,00.00 (each Participating Groups)
Special Awards :
Best in Costume and Props: 500.00
Best in Mass Dance/Discipline: 500.00
Best in Choreography: 500.00
Best in Music: 500.00
13. Criteria for Judging
Choreography 40%
Mastery and Ex*****on 30%
Choice of Music and Costumes 20%
Audience Impact 10%
TOTAL 100%
14. Each Group will be having an Entry Fee of PHP 1000.00 pesos only.
